Great location - right around the corner from San Francisco's #1 tourist atttraction - Fisherman's Wharf. Pier 39, sighseeing tours, cable car and tramway's stops are right there. You'll be able to get easily to the Union Square (downtown), BART stations, all the piers and many sighseeing spots ( crooked Lombard St, Coit Tower, Columbus St with tons of restaurants... More

This is considered a 3 star hotel, but I feel it's more of a 2 star. Remember this is an express hotel, which means it has no restaurant on site, no room service, no bar area, etc. It has the basic necessities you need. Here are a few details about the hotel itself. *The room and bathroom were very small,... More

We were most impressed with this hotel after having spent four days there with our two teenage daughters. It is within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms, service and staff were great and this is basically a new and modern hotel. The free breakfast was more than adequate for Australian... More

Perfectly situated, beautiful room, decent breakfast and what a city! This was a lovely hotel and my whole family, seven of us aged 6-68, spent a wonderful four days there last summer. I miss it like crazy and would, without hesitation, return. Why not 5 stars? Only two toasters in the breakfast room between dozens of us.

This hotel was a great base for the holiday. It was a bit basic, but the service was friendly and was very clean. Breakfast was included in the price, and there was an average selection of items. The loaction was great, with only a short walk to both the tram stops and Fishermans Wharf. Overall, it was good at the... More

Overall I really liked this hotel....It seems really nice and clean. Just a couple of suggestions and comments. You might want to ask for a room not near the street. In the early morning you could hear the rail cars go by your window. That was a bit annoying. I think even more because the hotel didn't seem busy, so... More

I stayed in this hotel for a combined business / pleasure trip, and found it great for both. They provide all the services you need to complete tasks with minimal stress, but never descend into that smarmy brown-nosing found in so many "high-end" hotels. Also, it's located within easy walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf & Pier 39 (go see the... More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and would highly recommend it if you want to visit San Francisco on your own as it has a perfect location near Fisherman's wharf and the end of the cable cars lines! Rooms were big and clean and the breakfast was one of the best we had during our stay in the USA

We travelled from the U.K. and chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Fishermans Wharf for 4 nights at then end of October 05. If you are looking for a great location near the wharf and good value for money, you must try this hotel. We were allocated a ground floor room, which had a large king bed, all... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Room was spacious and clean, only downside was the shower wasn't great. Staff friendly and complimentary breakfast every morning was brilliant.Hotel close to Pier 39 - fun to watch the sealions here! boat trips under golden gate bridge and to alcatraz - all highly reccommended. Walk to Lombard street was... More
