The service was friendly and gave good directions. Breakfast was complimentary and there were many choices. Our view was a cement wall, but out the side, we could see Coit Tower. The room was clean and neat. We were out and about all day and night, so we got everything we needed out of this hotel.

upon arrival we had a queen mini suite.very diappointing with had a view of the concrete courtyard. They could at least add potted plants or flowers. A dirty toothbrush lyng on floor. That night my husband got into bed and it smelled like urine. The next day we asked for a room change. since we were staying for 4 nights. they... More

This is a great hotel for the price and location. I was surprized by the view of Alcatraz from my window. The parking is outrageous but there is no alternative. At least the valet was always quick. Quick walk to the wharf and shops.

I was out in California for a 2 week business trip. I wanted to fill the weekend with fun things to do since I have not been to California before. This stay started off by waiting to check in for 15 minutes while the person working the check in desk went through every possible thing to do in San Francisco... More

Our family of 4 stayed in a Family Suite for 3 nights. Although not technically a 'suite' (it was all in one room), the room was huge and would easily accommodate 5 or 6. It was clean and comfortable. It had a microwave oven and small fridge (though no crockery and cutlery) Breakfast was adequate - it gets very busy... More

Location - great - convenient for restaurants, Fishermans Wharf attractions, and (although we discovered on our last night) 3 minute walk to large supermarket. Complimentary breakfast - good choice, although very busy. Delicious healthy bran & raisin muffins. Good coffee. Rooms - comfortable, well equipped (table & chairs, large t.v., iron & board, hairdrier, coffee machine). Could have used more... More

At check in waited 10 minutes at the unattended reception. The free breakfast is like feeding time at the zoo with dozens of people milling around trying to get at some of the hopelessly under-resourced food bars. was given room 320 right next to the stairwell. Really great to hear the stairwell door slam shut about 9,000 times in the... More

This is the 4th year we have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is excellent and good value for money with good sized rooms and breakfast included, only a short walk to Fisherman`s Wharf and Pier 39, Regular bus services running past the hotel, and close to the Street and Cable cars. We would like to pass on our thanks... More

This hotel is absolutely one of the best hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and extremely friendly reception stay. Throughout our stay all the reception staff we met were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard, it was extremely... More

This hotel was in a good location and obviously right by Fisherman’s Wharf and Ghiradelli Sq. Since we like to walk, we walked the distance to China Town and Union St. We also walked along the water from near the hotel all the way to the Golden Gate bridge which is about 2 miles. On a nice day it is... More
