If you are looking for a quiet room and within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf without paying you know those other prices then go no further. I know it was off season, but that was part of the reason for visiting San Francisco. The trip was more about being a tourist and we figured why not stay in the main... More

Paid around $50 USD/night for this hotel on Hotwire, which is a real bargain in San Francisco! Room is lovely, large and very clean. Nice and quiet. Room has safe, coffee maker and plenty of space for storage. Free wi-fi with good signal. No problem with staff at reception. Valet parking is expensive- $41 for 24 hours. Cable car is... More

We stayed the first 5 nights of our holiday in a small boutique hotel in San Francisco and after changed to the Holiday Inn, unfortunately.. There was nothing really wrong with the hotel itself, but the service from the front desk was so unbelievably bad that I have not encountered such attitude anywhere else. On arrival we were placed into... More

Dear JaanaCyprus, Thank you for taking the time to review your hotel stay. Unfortunately, there may have been a mix up with the hotels. You stayed at the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf at 1300 Columbus Avenue, not the Holiday Inn Express Fisherman's Wharf. We understand that having two Holiday Inns so close together can be confusing. We would greatly appreciate... More

We stayed here as our first stop from Australia on American holiday. I was not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Location is excellent less than 2 blocks from fishermans Wharf & easy walking distance to cable tram and other attractions. We have 2 children 11 & 14 and it was a great location with low noise and... More

What a great Hotel. We stayed here for 6 nights in August 2008 and we were completely blown away. The hotel is in a incredible location on Fisherman's Wharf with an approximate walk of ten minutes to Pier 39. There is so much to do here and everything is easily accessible as the trolley leaves just around the corner from... More

Being only a 2 star hotel I was not sure if it would be nice or not. It turned out to be great. You are within 2 blocks of the Warf, Ghiradeli, Boudin, the f line street car stop and the mason line cable car. The hotel staff was really friendly and the rooms were fine. It is also a... More

This is a great hotel in a really good location, 5 mins walk from Fisherman's Wharf. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean and the free breakfast was very good. I would definatley recommend this hotel.

We stayed here with our 3 children in a suite which was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff were efficient and friendly at check-in and the valets were helpful but as others have said the parking is expensive. On arrival the fridge in our room wasn't working- we contacted housekeeping and a whole new fridge appeared in 10 minutes!... More

Stayed at Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf Thursday October 2 and Friday October 3 2008. Arrived early and checked in immediately. They had a room ready., I had been told about the possibility of getting a room in the Beach building across the street and down the block. I was a little dissapointed when she told us we were in that... More
