Once again, I was staying in downtown San Francisco and used one of those hotel sites that you have to pay first then find out your lucky catch, well this time I was pleasantly surprised. When I pulled up to the motel, my first instinct was to back up and leave just by the motel exterior appearance. But being the... More

Free parking and WiFi. Handicap parking is extremely small. 2 queen beds and all the furniture make it a bit cramped to move in. Only 2 towels for 3 people. Comfy beds and pillows and warm quilts perfect for December. Close to shopping. Fast local buses.

Stayed for two nights! There were five of us in the room which was comfortable and spacious enough for the amount of time we spent there. Bathroom was a bit small with minimal shower pressure. Free parking which is a positive in a city with enormously expensive parking fees. Its in the city, close enough to walk places. Doesn't look... More

Though the pictures of the exterior are shabby we read that many people said it was much nicer inside the rooms, which is true. The outside of this building is run down and needs a serious face lift. As for the rooms, they were clean, decent and tidy. I disliked the fact that there are no curtains on the windows,... More

We stayed here one night, very loud but close to good bars. Less homeless people in this area, believe it's called marina. Free parking which is almost unheard of in San Francisco. I'd probably stay again but request from away from road. Rooms seem to be updated and they give you free waters

Stayed here for about 4 days as the location was perfect! Marina and Fishermans Wharf both withing walking distance. Easy to get to Union Square and downtone San Fran via bus or cab. The rooms are a good size and clean with free parking for guests on site.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and clean, the shower was great and clean towels every day. The hotel is in a great place 30 mins walk from Fishmans whalf, and other great areas. Only draw back, if you are in the front of the hotel, the noise of the traffic is very loud.

SF is such an expensive city (even more expensive than NYC) and hotels can cost a bomb, especially if you have to pay extra for parking. I decided to go for this one bcs it offered free parking, which apparently in SF is unheard of. We were expecting something alot worse and were pleasantly surprised by how the rooms were... More

I stayed 2 nights in a family suite and we were 6 people including children. The stay was amazing, close to everything. Hospitality was amazing. No big hotels offer complimentary water but here they did and the staff was super nice and friendly. I saw them helping each guest with parking their cars and using space efficiently. I heard that... This place is sadly a let down with a manager who unfortunately takes over 12 hours to respond to a complaint via email!!! I had seen ok review for this place and thought it would be great for our road trip as budget was getting tight. Room 201 as you can see has seating outside it for the motel smokers,... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
