We found this Motel by accident. We chose a "single bed" room. This meant we had 1 bed but it was the size of a football pitch. Whilst this is a basic type motel it is very clean, very comfortable and very accessible to the citu. Fishermans Wharf is 2mls away. My only small criticism is the wifi was poor... More

Basic but clean Motel, good enough for a short staying. Large room, nice bed.... Nice welcoming. Free parking, free and good wifi. I was at the first floor, it's a little noisy, because of the street. You have to know that there are a lot of homeless, but they are very inoffensive. It's better to not stay in that neighborhood... Service is not bad, staffers are helpful, facilities are ok, but area is visibly dangerous. I am aware that accommodation prices are usually high in SF, but I consider this being a very expensive hotel for the area.

This SF motel was inexpensive, clean, and surprisingly safe in spite of location in Tenderloin; plus it has free parking, which is a real premium in SF! We chose motel because of good location to Davies Symphony Hall and SF Jazz Center. We live in SF Bay area but wanted to stay in the city to see all the shows... More

This is a motor lodge, and as such perfect for anyone driving into the city and staying for the night, unless one is prepared to pay a good deal more for a hotel with parking. The room was spotless and roomy, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I was surprised that there was no hairdryer in the room, but there... More

Our pals living in San Francisco both sides of the Golden Gate Bridge were a little taken aback when we said we were staying in this part of town! They seemed to think we would be mugged / intimidated by the locals......We chose this hotel as we flew into San Francisco quite late so needed one night's stay at a... More

I think that it is difficult to find a better place when you visit SF. The rooms are good and you can park your car for free. You see some poor people, but it don't feel dangereus. We visited the whole town and didn't take any bus or taxi. In 20 minutes you walk to Union Square. You find some... More

Its no frills but its clean and it has free parking and its very reasonably priced. You can walk downtown. About 10 blocks. Lots of restaurants around. To get downtown, instead of walking downtown on Eddy street which goes through the heart of the Tenderloin. Go north on Polk for a few blocks and then go east on Geary. We... More

The owners, Jane & Grace, were very nice, helpful, very personal, friendly, made you feel welcome & informed us about the area in taking bus service, restaurants, & areas to stay away from. The room was clean, nice shower, & had only essentials in furnishings. No a/c, but outside temps nice to open patio door. The location is noisy, but... More

Hotel is located walking distance from Walgreens, KFC, Burger King and bus stop for bus 47 to Fisherman Wharf. You can take the trolley at California St (9 minutes walking) to Chinatown, Grant Avenue. You pay $2.25 for the bus ride. And $6.00 for the trolley ride. Hotel is clean and there is always hot water. Very safe with monitors... More
