The only reason we chose this RV park was because it was about as close as you can get to San Francisco and because there was a shuttle bus to get you into the city. The park is right opposite the Football ground so I guess if this is what you have come for its great. However, there isn't much... More

This is by far the worst RV park experience we have had in the states. We stayed here purely because there was nowhere else available at the last minute and now I see why. We have a self-sustained campervan so only required a 'tent' site, which turned out to be a car space and about 5 ft square patch of... More

This place gets one star for the nice security guard, and the close proximity to SanFran. We pulled in late to find two cars parked in our space. The poor security guard had to start knocking on trailers to find the owners, who were very upset at us that they had to move their cars. Our water connection leaked so... More

we stayed in July for 3 nights and we choose it because seemed to be the nearest to San Francisco center. Compared to other RV parks we stayed during our trip (california, nevada, arizona) the price was very high and the services in the average or less. their shuttle to go to the center is expensive (12$ each x day... Interesting neighbourhood overall and you could say it was nice and cosy, reach out the window and ask the neighbour for a cup of sugar. Stayed over the 4th July weekend, fireworks were heard throughout the night but maybe it was gunfire. However the burn outs and street racing was pretty clear outside the RV park. We got back late... The ONLY thing this park has going for it is its close proximity to downtown San Francisco and related tourism areas! Think of any stadium parking lot with an RV pedestal and you've got a perfect description of this park. In fact, the old Candlestick S.F. 49'ers stadium is right out front of this parks front gates and you would... More

We stayed at the site for 3 nights. We arrived late and were greeted by security. Check in was in the morning. The site was functional, and seemed to be the closest RV park to the centre of San Fran. The toilets and shower cubicles, although dated, were functional and clean. It was a bit of a pain timing our... More

Only thing to recommend is the closeness to downtown. The venue is a paved parking lot with @ one foot between vehicles. The background is filled with the noise of race cars & the wi-fi is unreliable at best. Upon arrival, the staff had lost our reservations, and when we showed them their confirmation letter, they still tried to argue... More

The park itself is what I expected. You park very close together, there are more rules than usual, and it is more expensive than most parks, but everything in San Francisco is expensive and it was still much cheaper than a downtown hotel room. The park is a few blocks from any housing, but the area you travel thru to... More

Candlestick RV Park is in a good location for visiting San Francisco. It has good security and very friendly staff, a good Wi-fi signal, and is located a few hundred feet from a recreation area with a couple miles of running and walking trails that allow a constant view of the bay. The facilities were clean. When the RV next... More
