When we got to the hotel we couldn't get in because nobody at the desk would answer the phone, if it weren't for other guests showing up who knows how long we'd be out there. Overall the service was good, they were really nice, but the room we stayed in had bedbugs and every morning I had new bites all... More

The hotel is basic but for a trip where most of your time is spent exploring the city then it's perfect. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. We bought some cereal, milk and plastic cutlery from trader joes which was just a couple minutes walk away. The cable car stops outside which takes you to Powell street... More

A terrible hotel, I don't know where to start. -They sent us up to a 4-person room that was not cleaned, then refused to clean it (even though we were within the check-in time). This meant that we had to rent two 2-person rooms at a higher cost. -Manager kept sliding the credit card, meaning that my friend was charged... More

Had a few teething problems with key card but all was ok. Deposit was $75 for me, my booking quoted $50 which I wasn't very happy about as it was written into my contract. Many of the people living there seem to be permanent residents which led to some interesting people walking the halls. I had a room next to... More

We stayed here in march for 3 weeks. The management were great Philip and Javier did a great job and were very friendly. We extended our stay and they gave us the same great rate we had at our first check in. Rooms were very clean with all the basics you need. Laundry room, wifi in lobby which is really... More

Thank you for your hospitality! I really liked it. especially liked the heating system, which can be adjusted. And also like the service. Very cozy hod- you can relax at any time. Thank you for WI-Fi. I'll come again. Elena Panova.

A picture is worth a thousand words, see the pest control picture while I was occupying my room. On the 5th day I had to throw out the garbage myself, no wonder there is need for pest control. Hotel staff said they clean rooms only once a week. There was mildew in the shower. There is no closet or wardrobe,... More

My friend and I stayed two weeks in San Francisco. I thought I booked a double room in the Cable Car Court Hotel but it was for the Cable Car Hotel at the corner Hyde Street and California Street. Well, it was much cheaper than a hostel. Our room was clean and the toilet and bathroom, which we had to... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
