We checked into the Marriott Union Square on 12/20/2014.We checked out 12/23/2014. From the entrance of the hotel we met the doormen and received very good service from the first day to our last day. During our visit we had a good relationship at the front desk with Diane and Kelley. Both were very friendly and helpful when we had... More

My husband and I visited SF on the day of the epic rain storm. When we checked in, the gentleman at the front desk advised us that our room was not ready yet (we did observe that there was NO POWER through out this section of downtown) and asked us to come back in a few hrs which was not... More

Great location! Convenient to Union Square; view of Macy's from our room. Friendly staff; great place to stay for a holiday visit to San Francisco! Only complaint was we were charged for room service even though we walked down to the restaurant to order and we carried back to our room ourselves. They also forget the condiments, etc.

This was our second time staying at the Marriott at Union Square. The corner suite on the 28th floor was beautiful. The views of Coit Tower and the bay are amazing. The door man treats you like royalty and always wants to ensure that you have a great visit by asking if you need directions or help with anything. You... More

We initially booked several months ahead of time and as we approached the actual date of our arrival, we were able to negotiate better rates because it was in November. The doormen were always very accommodating and the waitstaff that served us on Thanksgiving morning were excellent. The breakfast buffet was fresh, delicious and had a superb variety! We specifically... More

I stayed here the first week of December while I attended a work conference. Overall it was a good stay. I booked in advance and got a good deal on the room. Here is my plus/minus assessment: Plus: Great location by Union Square. You can walk to anything here. It's right in the hub of all the activity but my... More

when I started to check for accomodations one month before to our trip to SF, in general I always found very expensive rates for most of the hotels in SF, finally I decided to booked in this hotel just for the location, some of the main attractions of the city, Chinatown, cable car, Moscone centre, etc.. are a walking distance... I booked here recently for a business trip and had a room on the 29th floor facing Union Square and the Christmas tree. It was a great room and spacious. Very clean with a bit of a modern flare. I paid $239 and by the time you add in car parking at $53 and taxes you get to $340. That's... More

I booked two rooms at this Marriott and specifically added the secondary guest's name on my reservation as they would be checking in early. When they arrived, they were treated rudely and had trouble getting in. That was just the beginning. There is only valet parking at the hotel ($50+ dollars a night), and we followed the instructions to give... More

Came here for a conference. The prices of hotels in San Francisco are crazy even with the conference rates. Stayed here because I had Prestige membership and this hotel has an executive lounge which offered breakfast. The lounge was small and the hours were a bit restrictive. The wine is on an honour system which I'm not sure people were... More
