This hotel is located close to union square and China Town. Located on the cable car line which goes to fisherman's warf. It is a short walk to shopping and all types of dining. We booked two rooms and they placed us in an area where we could close off a separate hall way.

I had a room near an elevator. They moved us to a higher floor, nicer room, no problem. This was our second time staying here. It is a short walk to Chinatown. We don't rent a car but take the BART from OAK and walk everywhere. Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, Union Square are all in walking... More

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights in a room with 2 double beds. The hotel is in a great location, especially if you like shopping, just one block from Union Square. There's a large DSW on the next corner and Banana Republic, Macy's, GAP etc vey close. We booked a multi-day city sightseeing tour bus at the... More

Not quite 5/5 but a nice hotel at a reasonable price. The room was a good size and very clean. We paid a bit extra for the view of the city and it was well worth it. The location was ideal and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit, although felt safer getting taxi's back... More

We stayed at the Marriott near Union Square for 3 nights in April 2015. We booked the hotel online basically the same day we arrived and we decided to stay at this hotel as the price was pretty good and we wanted to stay at a hotel in this area. We came into San Francisco in a rental car and... More

I stayed at the Marriott Union Square for one night before moving to the much larger Marriott Marquis several blocks away for a conference, I arrived after a long flight from the east coast and was very tired. Although my first thought upon entering my club-level king room was that it was small, I soon realized that the room, which... More

The hotel Lobby is beautiful, The Concierge was so helpful, the rooms are underwhelming for the price and I do not recommend eating on site, besides there are too many great restaurants nearby. You are paying for the location. Which is great.

This hotel was perfect!!! Everyone that works there was so nice and helpful. Thank you Sherman, Perry and Anne and many others that we didn't get names for. It was very clean and bed comfortable. It was just perfect and in a perfect location. Everything was close by. Thank you for making our first trip to San Francisco perfect.
