I love the location. You can go walking to the Castro and Downtown, or can easily take the street car up and down Market Street and to/from the Piers/Embarcadero. I was really Shocked with the experience and the hotel , the rooms are out dated , The staff is slow and in proficient, I do have to say the House Keeping staff was great. The Continental Breakfast was both weak and very poorly done. and very false advertising to the pictures on the page. not convenient to any thing... more

We ended up with a room right off the parking lot, with doors to adjoining rooms on both sides of us, so we could hear the people outside, across the street and in the adjacent rooms--their conversations, tv and radio. I live in Washington State but work in San Francisco (computer consultant). I like this Travelodge for a number of reasons. It's very clean and well maintained. The rates are very reasonable for central San Francisco. For me it's cheaper than renting a studio apartment. It's an easy half mile walk to/from work. It's also an easy half mile walk... more
