This was a terrible hotel , the management allowed loud music and people in the parking lot yelling until 3am . There were peoe selling drugs and witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot . The front desk was rude , not knowledgable and barely spoke English to assist guest . Lots of hidden fees and charging your guest... More

Our friends and my family made a reservation in this hotel. When we arrived they assigned two rooms in the second floor I have never imagine they can call this a hotel. The bed covers were yellow instead of white with holes and not only in our room but in our friends too. We arrived real late and because of... More

The hotel was old and that was expected. Travelodge has a reputation for a reason. It looked like a fresh coat of paint had happened recently and new linens were used however the beds and furniture were not updated........ever. We didn't even see where one could get breakfast, if it was offered. The whole place was sketchy with people sorting... More

Daytime was scary, nighttime was terrifying. When we checked in there was a guy circling on his bike in the carpark like the kid in Breaking Bad. Lots of people loitering near the stairwells. At one point both our key cards stopped working for no apparent reason and we waited for 75 minutes in line behind people checking in. We... More

Thought the night would be tough but it wasn't too bad considering the hotel provides ear plugs on the night stand. Location to everything was good. Wouldn't hands paid full price though. Thanks Wyndem rewards!

Non-smoking room doesn't mean anything to the Travelodge. We got a non-smoking room, but that wasn't the case when we got in. Granted, it's obviously the other guests' fault for not complying with the rules, but the Travelodge could have tried to find a solution from all this. They could have put in some air fresheners or something. Also, for... More

This was the noisiest night imaginable. People outside in the parking lot loud all night. The rooms are disgusting, filthy, with odors. I didn't want to even sit on the bed and the thought of sleeping in it horrified me. Looking out the bathroom window I might as well been staying a the city dump. The drawers to the dresser... More

Between the lack of concern by the staff and the non-existent security... the two night stay was, by far, the worst hotel stay ever!

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
