Overall the Alexis Park is a good hotel with a good price for San Francisco. There is parking and it is located near to public transportation. The rooms are comfortable. The one problem that I have with this hotel is how late the breakfast starts in the morning – 8 am. To ensure that no one gets in early, the... More

Basically, the title says it all. It's clean enough, Free parking, the neighborhood is a bit iffy, and the breakfast is limited (but when it's included, you kinda don't really look "a gifted horse in the mouth", right?) Generally, all you really need is a clean bed and shower when touring a city - that you get. Service and amenities... More

The Alexis Park motel is perfect for those travelers who simply want a clean room, bed, and shower. There are no frills, the parking is tight, the front desk is somewhat surly, and the immediate neighborhood may not be ideal for those who are not accustomed to urban homelessness. The Alexis Park is within walking distance of great bars and... More

Firstly, it is in very bad area full of homeless people. We arrived at 11 pm to the hotel and walked most of our way there by feet with lot of suitcases, we got strange looks and I was actually scared on the streets. The hotel room overall looked very nice though, it was clean and had really nice furniture.... More

We booked a room at the Alexis Park for Saturday night, with plans to run the Nike Womens Marathon yesterday. But, checkout is at 11am, and we would not be back. So we asked for late checkout. No. We asked if we could leave our bags at 6am and get them later. No. The only option, according to the manager,... More

I was quite skeptic, when I saw the hotel from outside. But if you are traveling alone, as business (wo)man, as a young couple, and when you are not afraid of loitering homeless people around in the area (the hotel manager took care off, to get them off the hotel area) I would recommend to go there when you are... This is the worst hotel I have never been to. First, the location is not safe, there are lot of homeless people around this hotel, if you have family with little kids, highly not recommended. Second, they said there are free parking available, but the very RUDE hotel manager reserved most of parking space for his family members and himself.... More

We needed a place close to Nob Hill for my nephews FIDM graduation. Unfortunately, it was June 14 and PEEK season for S.F. We literally were just going to sleep in the room, with dinner, events, breakfast & site seeing filling our hours. So...this is a decent little motel, parking is available & free but first come first serve. Rooms... More

This was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. This hotel is centrally located to the heart of SF and as a result, the staff feels entitled to gouge their customers. The front desk staff is RUDE, and the hotel is filthy. The maid entered our room despite the DO NOT DISTURB tag being up, and when we returned... More

Not worth it if you are staying here for the amenities like free parking and breakfast. The bad location, surly service and rundown rooms make even those "perks" unpalatable. Free parking is very limited and the motel will not allow you to park before check in our after check out and the breakfast is a joke.
