Dolores Place is conveniently located within easy tram or walking distance to downtown. The space feels just like home, and David, the owner, was extremely accommodating with respect to dietary preferences and sightseeing questions. I highly recommend this B & B. Margie S., Durham NC

My husband and I were in town visiting family. This place was in the perfect location for us. One huge plus was that David had a parking spot for us!!! Even though we had a car rented we still chose to walk to the wonderful little cafes in the area. Chloe's Cafe was right around the corner and was delicious!... More

This was our third stay at Dolores Place and we highly recommend it if you want to explore the charms of Noe Valley and San Francisco. Comfortable bed, great shower, plenty of storage, tv and wifi with a convenient little kitchen area. Pleasant outside deck on a quiet street was a perfect spot to relax. There was construction next door... More

We stayed 6 nights in Dolores Place and preferred its location to the downtown core. It was more relaxing and quieter, with a neighbourhood providing lots of great restaurants, cafes, shops, and other amenities. Public transportation is close by ( Buy a MUNI pass at Whole Foods). The studio suite was well equipped with a nice large bathroom, comfortable bed,... More

Lovely clean room with comfortable bed and and handy kitchen area. Really close to great restaurants and the MUNI for getting around. Would definitely stay again, and recommend to friends. David was really helpful with suggestions of where to eat and very friendly. Just book it; you won't be disappointed!

Could not have found a better fit for my 2 night business stay. Fantastic host, well appointed spacious bedroom, privacy and excellent security for solo female traveler, lovely deck area for soaking up neighborhood views and fresh air. Waking distance access to foodie places on Valencia, and Tartine bakery. Away from but can easily get to downtown SF and sunset... More

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Dolores Place. The neighbourhood is a great blend of quiet and conveniently located near transport and not far away from downtown. We had a park for our hire car right out the front for our whole stay which made things even more convenient. The bed was super comfortable and our room... More

A wonderful option to a hotel room. Private quiet place with kitchenette and lovely deck, and in a nice residential neighborhood. Fridge gets stocked daily with breakfast goodies. Close to BART as well as to great restaurants and shops in Noe Valley and the Mission. Will definitely stay here again.

We've stayed at this B & B about 5 times and plan our SF trips around its availability. It is really a small efficiency apartment with a private entrance and garden terrace. The owner is friendly and refills the fridge daily with bagels, juice, yogurt, milk and fruit. There are other comfortable amenities that add to the comfort and charm... More

Dolores Place is the perfect resting spot for a trip to SF. Clean and comfortable, the space is plenty big for two adults, with good beds and bath. We always felt safe. Spectacular view from the private outdoor patio. Quiet and quaint neighborhood, plus a well-stocked breakfast pantry. The owner is kind and accommodating. Will definitely inquire about booking for... Staying in Mission District

Neighborhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
