Location was central and convenient. The neighborhood felt safe at night. The area has many restaurants, a good bookstore, laundromat, drugstore, and natural foods store within walking distance. Castle Inn is in a good location - approximately 20 minute downhill walk to the waterfront area. Upon check in I was given a map, advised what areas of the city I shouldn't go to, and also provided a list of buses I could use if required. Walk back from the waterfront is doable, but there are hills to conquer.... more
