You get what you pay for here... the room smelled like old wet weather (what you would expect from a hotel near the bay I suppose). Once you get used to the smell, it's hard to ignore the sound of the upstairs neighbor's toilet flushing and the subsequent water trickling down the pipes in your walls- maybe someone just forgot... more

So I went there and I was not expecting much but I did not pay much so that's allright. The thing that bug me the most was the day prior to leaving I asked if they could CALL me a taxi to take me to the airport the next morning. So the next morning I check out and I realize... more

Very clean and roomy room. Parking is tight but available, so that's OK. I can't imagine anything better for less than twice the price, because it is as good as any of the other Inns (if not better), but was cheaper and better located than them in San Fran. more

I do not know if I would stay there again. I appreciate feeling welcome. Meher (lady clerk was great, however, the next day we were greeted by 2 men that could be described as zombies! There presence was not the kind of customer service that is acceptable. more

In the past thirty years, I have travelled a great deal on business, both home and abroad. Rare is the hotel that combines everything I desire at an affordable rate. The Francisco Bay Inn is located in downtown San Francisco not far from many of the City's best attractions. The hotel rooms were spotless, well appointed, quiet, and the staff... more

First SF experience - sad really. Firstly we were told to come back later to check in after 2 pm when we arrived at 12pm. Then upon returning, we were told they were fully booked! Rather upsetting- especially when we have booked and paid the FULL PRICE at booking already!! She then had to book another hotel (given that we... more

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! It was just a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, which was absolutely stunning. The front desk was extremely helpful and was able to arrange a tour of San Francisco which brought us to all of the major attractions without the trouble of renting a car or navigating ourselves in unknown territory. Although... more

A great location as you can walk to Fisherman’s wharf, Lombard St, Pier39 and other nearby San Francisco attractions. Sight seeing is one of the best things to do in San Francisco and the hotel is great for just that. Francisco Bay has a great city location and spacious rooms. The hotel has clean comfy beds, large TV for the... more
