Small room, smelled like mold, stains on the furniture and carpet. Very noisy due to heavy traffic. Bathroom was allright. This is not what I call an INN, it is a motel, accesible for everyone who walks in the street. Did not feel secure at all. Ridiculous and slow elevator, the walls lined with carpet (!) and constantly out of... More

Room was clean and comfortable. Near to attractions. Some noises from street. Bathroom fan was little bit noisy. Friendly staff. Some hassle with keycards, those stopped working about after 10:00 twice.

Stayed here Dec 15 for three nights, we had travelled the west coast and had a 15 seater van which we could park here free, which looking at how much parking is in San Fran was amazing. It was a ten minute walk to fishermans wharf, it felt a safe walk even at night, the rooms were clean and comfy... More

Firstly we are quite happy doing a bit of walking so wasn't a problem for us, but also has a car park so if you want to drive out that's fine too, which we did on occasion, so good base and location, the hotel frontage and parking all look fine but we were a little disappointed with the room old... Room was spotless. Room was quiet. FREE parking - parking is a big issue in California. My girlfriend, who lives in the Valley, couldn't believe it was free until we arrived. Staff were very pleasant and outgoing. The location is walkable (uphill in some cases) to good bars and restaurants. No problem with the Wi-Fi. I'd stay here again.

Stayed here for 5 days in December 2015. Nice view of the Golden Gate bridge from the upper floors - once you step out of the room. If you have your own car this is a good place to be - free parking and all. If not, taking public transport (a block away from MUNI buses) can be a bit... More

I recently traveled to SF for business, then stayed an extra week- 11 nights in total which I believe gave me enough time to review this hotel. I traveled solo, so was looking for a hotel that was in a safe but convenient location. My room was in the back, which I recommend as the 2 streets bordering the hotel... More

Booked a night here through hotels.com Cost $167. Saved between $30 and $40 off the hotel website. The hotel is very small, the room was stuck in the 80s, the elevator was covered in graffiti and it was faster to take the stairs. It was noisy in the room. We could hear people in the other rooms and the wi-fi... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
