Location is ok if you don't mind walking up hill for 5-7 mins. going to Union Square though is very easy. They have free internet wifi and desktop stations. The room looks old and so as the furniture. bed sheets looks old too. I was shocked with the cleaner when I just finished showering when i saw him on my... More

The prices for the rooms are okay I guess, since SFO seems to be a generally expensive city. WiFi was working fine for me, there were some timeouts, but that wasnt such a big deal. The rooms are pretty... well, they could be better, the beds aren't really well constructed and our window had a huge crack. The bathroom was... More

I feel an urge to write a review for this hostel since so many have written so much negative about it. First I like to say that I have traveled a lot, both in Europe, southeastern Asia, Africa, Australia and now the U.S. since I'm a student I quite often stay at hostel. I found Amsterdam hostel in San Fransisco... More

Gross hostel. There was Vomit right on the staircase . It was cleaned for 24 hours. It was next to my room, smelled. I will avoid this hostel at any cost. I also had to wait 30 minutes the first day before the front desk person had caught up with other guests.

I have read some negative review on this place and I say to those that you get what you pay for and this is the middle of the city and a hostel not a hotel. If you are used to hostels you will be fine and I think the place had plenty of good facilities. It could do with a... More

I will start by saying that if you are accustomed to European hostels this place is not for you. We were a group of six friends who needed a place to stay for 3 nights to see the city and buy a car before heading to Tahoe. The carpet stinks, the toilets back up, the beds are cheap but comfortable... More

I returned to San Francisco having been there a week before. This hostel was a last minute thing. It's not the worst hostel but it's certainly not the greatest. Location is ok, bedrooms are ok and shower is good. Pretty average.

I booked a doble room with private restroom. The room was clean, but, on the first day, there was not room service. The location is so good, near from shooping and restaurants. Breakfast is pancakes that you prepare by yourself... please, don't make it! Is terrible!

Probably one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. Seriously needs renovated or really well cleaned. Room had a really bad smell of urine and other substances... It was so dark and small. Windows didn't open for fresh air. It was quite suffocating in there. Free breakfast is a bucket full of batter to make pancakes? Place was... More
