I have stayed here before and will do it again when and if I ever come back to S.F. The workers are nice and tell you straight out to not leave anything in your car overnight. The guys next to me had something taken from their car. The area is what it is, and that is why this place is... More

Booked this hotel with a 2 beds room and prepaid the money online. When I arrived, the manager told me they are over booked. They took me to another hotel next to bridge inn. The transferred hotel charged me extra 100 USD in order to have a two beds room. The manager even told me to take a twin bed... More

This was my 2nd visit to San Francisco & once again, I stayed @ the Bay Bridge Inn. Originally, this was recommended to me by a business associate. I'd definitely come back in the future. If you're on a budget lime most people nowadays, the Bay Bridge Inn won't break your wallet. It's in walking distance to Moscone, The Old... More

Older style two story motel close to everything you need. Well maintained and managed. Ricky did his all to please. Less than 10 minutes to Hallidie Plaza, cable cars and shopping. Our room (206) was very comfortable including a modern bathroom update. In spite of being in proximity to a freeway ,noise wasn't an issue. If you wanted to purchase... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay. The establishment has been in existence for a very long time, but we sincerely believe that "old style" is the way things should be done - deliver a positive experience to our customers by attending to their needs. Thanks once again. More

Staff was VERY nice, room was clean and bathroom looked updated. Easy walking distance to lots of activities. Free wifi and free parking a perk! Quite limited parking, but they were nice enough to let us park a restricted zone for the night. Will definitely visit again when traveling to San Francisco.

If you're a budget traveler like we are, you'll like the Bay Bridge Inn. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful, from the manager to the housekeepers. The manager, Rickey, gave us help getting around San Francisco from the beginning to the end, making sure that we knew the best places to go and the safest ways to get... More

I've never been to San Francisco before. 1st impression of the hotel was "OK, but not great". Then I checked in. The guy, who's name I'm sorry to say I've forgotten, was incredibly friendly, easy going pleasant. We were very late checking in, no problem. With a promise of giving us ideas of what to see and where to go... More

I was always weary of staying at this hotel since it is near the freeway (ie- noise), but we got it for free using our credit card points, so we thought we'd just suffer. Well, were we ever PLEASANTLY suprised!! It is only about two blocks from the freeway, but it's in kind of a residential area so there was... More

Thank you very much for your kind words. We strive to deliver excellent customer service to all of our guests. The neighborhood is in transition, as we have historically been a light industrial area. We have slowly transitioning into a neighborhood where people actually live and work, which, in time, will translate into more things to do in the area... More

Good location, just in town center next to the Bay Bridge, 5 minutes away from Union Square, the rooms are clean, free wifi and internal parking lot. Ricky at the reception is very helpful and kind. We highly recommend this inn.

We take great pride in delivering exceptional service. The differentiating factor from one hotel to another is primarily service (all other things being equal). Thank you for your review and we hope to see you the next time you visit San Francisco. More

We stayed here because of its proximity to AT&T park. The room was clean and updated. It was nice to have free parking. We were close to Muni transportation. Ricky was very nice and gave us a map of recommended places to visit. It was close to the freeway so there was traffic noise.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay with us. Being located near the freeway has it's negatives and positives. We hope that you choose to give us a chance the next time you are visiting San Francisco and we can reserve a room further from the street. More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
