We stayed here for four nights in the second week of December. Great location on Lombard Street downtown. Very clean and fine amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is free, and that's a real plus in San Francisco. We were here as a major Pacific storm hit the Northern California coast. During our last day, the power... More

Didn't want to drive back home on a rainy night after a class in SF. So we looked for a reasonable hotel. And this is a WINNER. We stayed for a single night and will definitely come back. Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking is included at no extra charge, which in San Francisco is a huge plus. One... More

We arrived at the accommodation and were greeted by Tony, the nicest manager! He was very friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. My partner left his wallet down at reception and Tony gave us a call straight away to let us know - very trustworthy guy! There's plenty of maps and guides at reception to help you plan... More

Tony at reception was a great help to us for getting around and settling us in. The motel itself is a little dated. Could do with a bit of brightening up. We had a room off Lombard street so it wasnt noisy at all and we were on the 3rd floor. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of places to eat nearby... More

Tony, who took our registration and checked us in, was absolutely the nicest, most helpful and knowlegable person. I have to brag on the down pillows because 95% of the time, I can't sleep well because the pillows are too THICK . Another huge benefit is that it is a safe area and free parking for our car in a... Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. The reception staff was friendly and helpfull. Gives a good value for money, even though our 10 years old did not fit into the sofa (the hotel says it can accomodate 5 in the room). About 20 minutes walk to Fisherman's Warf. Our room was noisy.

I would stay here again. We got a really good price deal way below what you would normally pay in San Francisco. ITs clean and comfortable, feels safe, the staff are really helpful, nothing fancy but you feel they want to do a good job. The decor is a bit blah boring but it is all clean and well cared... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
