We were a bit taken back when we saw the exterior of the Capri, with their 60's vintage neon signs, we weren't too sure about the area, and the lobby could definitely use some updating, but..... the service could not have been any better. The room was updated, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The area was not bad... More

On arrival we were a bit worried as the reception is very dated, worn and not very clean. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were quite modern and very clean with small kitchen, microwave and fridge. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was of a high quality. This motel is not the Ritz but for a couple of nights... More

The location is really great. Just a block up from a main artery, but not as hectic and crowded as some parts of the city. It's surrounded by good eateries and shopping, if you're so inclined. Check out the neon signs advertising the motel in the surrounding area - vintage fun! The Presidio is stunningly beautiful and close (but a... More

Easy check-in and the room was updated, modern and clean. It also had a microwave and mini fridge which was nice, but the bathroom was very outdated. The breakfast is nothing special, I wouldn't count on that. There are plenty of local places to grab a cheap breakfast. The updated rooms are nice, but the worst part was the entrance... More

Excellent place to stay and in a great location. Close to lombard street and a short walk to the trams and museum. Very helpful staff and free parking is a bonus in San Francisco. Free breakfast was also a bonus. Nice to get a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room, at no extra cost. Nicely decorated room and... More

The free parking is a nice perk, just don't stay out too late as they can run out of spots. The third floor has rooms with beamed/vaulted ceilings which are a treat. The rooms are nicer than you'd expect looking at the building, but there is more street noise. The neighborhood is safe and you can walk to Union or... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in July 2014. We got the room for under $150.00 per night, which was great value. The location of the hotel is fantastic - the neighborhood offers easy access to all tourist sights & also has great restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby. The motel was recently renovated, so the room was quite nice.... More

We stayed here for two nights with our friends who were also a couple. The location was great, quiet but a 10 minute walk from the bay. For us, we thought the hotel looked funky from the outside although our American friends thought it looked tacky.Whilst we agreed that it could've done with a lick of paint, we were pleasantly... We stayed at Capri motel San Francisco recently. We got there early and were allowed to go in. The room wax nice but bathroom was very outdated but functioned fine. It has limited free parking . We never moved our car once there for fear we wouldn't get another spot. The motel is in a good location to walk a... More

SFO is booming and accomodations keep getting more expensive. I stayed at the Capri recently (6/15/14 for 3 nts). A Sunday nt was $229.99, Monday was $169.99 and Tuesday the rate jumped back up to $229.99. When I inquired at the desk why a Tuesday would cost so much I was told they have changed their rate structure to reflect... More
