I don't think this hotel was good value for money. The room was reasonably clean, but in the first room I was allocated I couldn't close the blinds. There are no clear instructions in the bathroom on how to operate the shower, only a small notice in reception. Just before checking out I noticed the toilet was leaking after flushing

For price, location, and space it was great! Super clean & comfortable for the couple days we stayed there. The front desk people were very nice & helped us out when we needed it. Only thing, there's a muni stop outside with homeless people 24 hrs, but they weren't dangerous.

I was in room 210 and was greatly satisfied with my stay! The bed was comfortable, nice circulation with big windows, staff was exceptional! The woman who checked me in was polite and had great customer service skills. When I needed to extend my stay the gentleman who helped me was the same! He also helped me with the breakfast.... More

This is good hotel for the price. Staff is nice, very helpful and polite. Rooms are clean. This is close to market street. Can go there walking. Even China Town is near by. There are a lot of restaurants near this hotel.

This hotel is in the tenderloin district, so there are a lot of homeless people around but nothing dangerous. The rooms are your typical hotel rooms, nothing fancy but it was clean. Our room was toward the back of the hotel and very quiet. I've paid quite a bit more money for a room in San Francisco that was much... More

We stayed in Regency inn for 4 nights. The price is very good and the hotel is in the heart of the centre of San Francisco. You reach China Town, market street and Union Square by walking. Everything is very close. There are also many different kind of food restaurants around the hotel. The rooms are very clean and the... More

We stayed just for the cheapness. So close to Market street and at he Little Saigon gate. Kindly and politely peole, little bedroom and small beds.. Not so safe by nightime because there are a lot of numbs sleeping at the streets. Anyway it's a good way to sleep in SF

I can only say two words about this Hotel and the location. RUN AWAY. Truly a ghastly experience. Unfortunately as there were no rooms in town due to Dreamforce i had no choice. They charged 400 for what should be a $50. room. No air conditioning. Had to demand a fan. Showers are falling apart and dirty. Won't return. Oh... More

As other reviews point out, the neighborhood is slightly shaky. I was a little nervous upon checking in....all kinds of characters on the street and in the lobby. I need not have worried. The hotel is run by an Asian family, and they run a tight ship. Our room was spotless, had a great TV, great shower and bath, etc.... More

First of all, because you're clearly going to want to know: the neighbourhood. The surrounding area is not pleasant. While not necessarily dangerous, it is abundant in crack whores, crack heads and general ne'er-do-wells. If you've ever practised the hopscotch, you'll find navigating the dying tramps quite easy; otherwise, imagine a game of twister where most of the residents are... More
