I stayed here for 3 weeks and I just loved their hospitality. Grate front desk staff. They are very helpful and informative. It is the best value for money in downtown, good internet connection, decent breakfast in the mornings. I loved the hot chocolate. I had to stay in SF for 5 weeks and I could not find anyone offering... More

We had a nice experience staying at this hotel. The room we stayed in was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The mattress was new! Breakfast was small but alright. Kind staff! Good hotel. I would stay in this hotel again.

An old building and old-fashioned bathrooms. But it's clean, works well and friendly. Also good value for money. My question is, what's up with San Francisco? I know the location is a slightly dodgy part of San Francisco, but the homelessness all the way up to Union Square was quite shocking. Not the fault of the hotel, and my sense... More

This was not a horrible hotel - but it was not very nice. It was cheap and available and my room had a 50" HDTV in it - with actual HDTV service as well, so that was great. There was also decent WIFI in the property and the desk personnel friendly enough. So what were the CONS? It wasn't flea-bitten,... More

Lots of noises, dusty carpets (also in the rooms) and a mold-like smell. Hard matress didn't comfort after the jetlag. Only advantage was the pretty rapid WiFi connection. The neighbourhood is not great, but certainly not dangerous.

This hotel was by far the worst experience I've ever had. Besides the TVs mounted on the bedroom walls, Everything else is out dated. I found it very difficult to understand the women at the front desk hence she did not speak fluent English. If entering the lobby doesn't discourage you just wait till you use the elevator. Our smoke... More

Not clean , very dangerous noeghborhood. I hate their breakfast. Rooms are small, the elevator is not safe. Very bad customer service. No cancellation option once you arrive. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone . It is not cheap as many people think, you can actually get much better room somewhere else and for the same amount of... More

Looking for a cheap place to stay if you are armed or a ninja, I'd say stay here but if you have a family and value your safety it's not worth it. Our experience here was a nightmare, here's the highlights: The fact that there are homeless people is not the problem, it's the crazy aggressive bath salt zombie types... More
