First of all, because you're clearly going to want to know: the neighbourhood. The surrounding area is not pleasant. While not necessarily dangerous, it is abundant in crack whores, crack heads and general ne'er-do-wells. If you've ever practised the hopscotch, you'll find navigating the dying tramps quite easy; otherwise, imagine a game of twister where most of the residents are... More

There are druggies, homeless everywhere! When we first arrived, my 7 year old opened the door and there was a homeless woman that ran up and immediately asked him for money! Not to mention a man peeing on our parking meter! We heard gun shots our first night and our second night, our car was broken into!! Right in front... More

I had a very good stay! People say the neighbor hood is bad but it's not at all! If your friendly with the neighbors they are friendly with you! The whole sf is gonna be like that! Just be friendly with the people around you and they will be friendly with you! Overall the motel was really good, the mangers... More

Save your money don't stay here!! Stained tub, 2 different shower curtains, shower curtains dirty and stained, room smells. This hotel does not have air conditioning. You have to park around the corner in a lot which is expensive. Friendly staff though.

Liquor store around the corner.Continental breakfast and coffee every morning in the lobby is a big plus and the front desk staff is very accommodating.Well, nothing is really affordable in San Fran,... I stayed here for 3 weeks and I just loved their hospitality. Grate front desk staff. They are very helpful and informative. It is the best value for money in downtown, good internet connection, decent breakfast in the mornings. I loved the hot chocolate. I had to stay in SF for 5 weeks and I could not find anyone offering... More

We had a nice experience staying at this hotel. The room we stayed in was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The mattress was new! Breakfast was small but alright. Kind staff! Good hotel. I would stay in this hotel again.

An old building and old-fashioned bathrooms. But it's clean, works well and friendly. Also good value for money. My question is, what's up with San Francisco? I know the location is a slightly dodgy part of San Francisco, but the homelessness all the way up to Union Square was quite shocking. Not the fault of the hotel, and my sense... More
