Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Hotel with Victorian decor.The room was large and beautifully furnished. Staff were friendly and professional and went the extra mile to make the stay memorable.The piano bar with the open fire was a great place to relax each evening.Great location .

The location is great. You are right atop nob hill. Yes, this is a boutique hotel, but it is maintained very well. Rooms are spacious (for San Francisco), and the bathroom is very big, clean and bright. Rooms are equipped with LCD tv's, leather chairs, business desk, ipod dock, WALK IN CLOSET. Our memory of this hotel will be that it was dak and gloomy with extortionate parking costs. We had a room on the 10th floor which did have a wonderful view. Timeless elegance shouldn't be a watchword for sparse but this is how our bathroom was. I get the impression this particular floor hasn't been upgraded in a long while.... More
