The Palace is one of the oldest hotels in San Francisco but has been updated. I thought the rooms were great--big with high ceilings. It is located in the financial district which means lots of restaurants do not keep late hours and some aren't open on the weekends and that the closest coin laundry is 7 or 8 blocks away.... more

I got the pleasure of staying at The Palace Hotel for work. The building is neat from the outside and the inside lobby is gorgeous. The room I stayed in was also beautiful.
