We were in a room at the back of the building. The room was noisy at midnight. It was not a weekend. Beds, linens are comfortable. Used the fireplace. Breakfast is always delicious and hot. Very convenient. Wine table always appreciated. Missed the cheese. Fruit always available

We spent a week at the Petite Auberge and loved every minute. The staff were so helpful in guiding us to tourist sites, transportation options, areas to avoid and places to eat. Our room was small but very clean and the added perks made our stay enjoyable. We loved the Happy Hour where we met countless people from all over... More

The Petite Auberge has an excellent location, but that is only a small part of it's excellence. The ambience is of an easy soft, all most old world elegance. The staff excel in being accommodating and making your stay wonderful. The Wine Hour always has an assortment of delicious appetizers with good basic wine. It's a great time to make... More

Petite Auberge is like staying with friends or family. It's so comfortable and cozy and you meet really interesting people at the daily "Happy Hour". The breakfast is wonderful and is replenished even before needed. I left a pair of shoes and they were so great about mailing them back to me.I will definitely be back next trip to San... More

This is a lovely ambient hotel in a choice situation that we were really looking forward to staying at. Unfortunately it there was no air con and it was so noisy that we failed to get a good nights sleep.

This is a wonderful place to stay at! It is very cozy and genuine, I loved the wallpaper and the charming french atmosphere. Every afternoon at 5 they served wine, biscuits and snacks that was included in the price. Then you get a chance to talk to the other guests. It is the perfect location to stay to be able... More

We visited during a heat wave and of course there is no A/C. That would be ok if a fan were provided. in addition the open windows with local bars nearby meant VERY LOUD activity till 2 am. Also we were in room 22, which is the tiniest, most cramped space I have ever been in , right above the... More

Lovely floral wallpaper, pleasant breakfast, a little noise from out back, but shutting the windows took care of that. There wasn't staff, only a reception desk next door, but that was no problem. A little on the expensive side, but otherwise delightful.

The staff was all very friendly. The morning breakfast was good. The character of the hotel was very sweet. The lobby music during breakfast was very pleasant. I really wish I had a refrigerator in my room.

Good work people a nice hotel. Traffic noise at times was high but that is the price of staying in the city. Pillows... could have a better range/options. Nice character hotel with a few extra touches that we appreciated. a nice change from the 'chain' hotels we normally stay in.
