Great service and the amenities were excellent! There were so many details that made it a great stay including the staff help with restaurants and a wonderful breakfast. The wine tasting in the afternoon was a delight!

This tiny boutique hotel bills itself as a B&B, but paired with it's almost next door sister, the White Swan, it boasts about 40 rooms and it's a vast improvement on most B&Bs. Granted, it is beautifully decorated with very cozy furniture and offers both a full buffet breakfast and a wine and horsdoeuvre "reception" in the afternoon, but there... More

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and relaxing. The fireplace was PERFECT! Breakfast was good, and I also enjoyed the late afternoon social hour. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

I stayed here for 5 days on business. After long days of work, it was like coming home. Fireplaces, wine & cheese, and welcoming staff & guests awaited me each day when I returned. My room was clean & comfortable and I brought as many people over as I could to show it off. I just loved it here. The... More

We were enchanted with the charm of this darling place. Everyone was helpful and there were so many pluses compared to other hotels we have stayed in here in SF. Next time we would like to have one of the downstairs rooms with fireplace and larger bed. The rooms here were larger but still cozy.

We only stayed one night, but our overall experience was excellent! The room was small, but it is an older hotel so I wasn't expecting anything different. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a free breakfast and in the late afternoon wine and food were served in the downstairs common area. The location is near... More

As long as you don't mind trading slightly smaller rooms and somewhat squeaky floors for a great location, great price and exceptional staff, this is the place for you. Would definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed at this hotel in Nov, 2014, after seeing some good reviews about in TA, and I wasn't disappointed the least. The hotel is in a very good locality in SFO, with most of the attractions not far off and good connectivity by public transport. Hotel and Room: The hotel is a quaint little boutique hotel. Nicely done up.The... More

Stayed for 2 nights, selected for its convenient location (a few blocks from Union square), decent price, and because I get tired of the chains--even the very nice ones. The staff were uniformly very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small but comfortable and clean. Complementary cookies at 1:00, happy hour at 5, and buffet breakfast each morning (plus a... More
