All employees were helpful and friendly, very professional. Breakfast quiche was not tasty but other selections for breakfast were very good. Social time in the late afternoon with wine and snacks was great, an opportunity to relax and spend time with other guests.

We had a great stay, the staff was helpful and friendly. Also, the social hour in the evening was a great way to meet other people staying at the b&b. Close to attractions and various restaurants. Fun!

This hotel is in an excellent downtown location, close to Union Square, shopping and within walking distance of Chinatown for example. Service at the hotel was good, very helpful front desk and good facilities and nice little touches. Standard room was small but pretty and fine for a city trip. You are warned that as an old building there will... More

Very clean well located period hotel. Staff were very professional. We received great service from check in, valet parking, bell hop, concierge to check out. Street noise till 1 and wi-fi had some issues. I would definitely stay here again.

From exceedingly kind and helpful staff to a very attractive and well-appointed room and fine breakfasts, Petite Auberge stands out amongst San Francisco's hotels, and in fact is a rival for any hotel at which I have stayed elsewhere. Its location is a further plus, for it sits amidst an array of restaurants and other attractions in the city centre.... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, close to public transportation and many of the wonderful places to visit. Breakfast each morning was great and afternoon wine and goodies were much appreciated after a day of sight seeing, and we got to meet many new people from all over the world who were staying there, too.

Good things come in small packages. The bedrooms were a good size.. best of all was the late afternoon drinks and nibbles where you could meet other guests and compare notes. The location was good, half way up am hill, close to umion square amd china town. The reception area is not manned all the time and the catch is... More

The hotel is quaint and located near attractions and transportation. Breakfast very good, and the staff was friendly. Staff suggestions for restaurants turned out to be excellent. The only complaint we had was that the bed was too softin the middle. We kind of sunk in. We enjoyed having a private patio.
