Booked a few nights' stay here based on TripAdvisor reviews but was disappointed ... Our room, while a comfortable size, was very musty-smelling with ancient carpeting and a tiny flat-screen tv that barely worked. It was too cold at night to leave the window open but if left closed the room smelled bad. The property owner, while well-intentioned, just hovered... More

I traveled alone to SF after my training trip and since there was big events in SF, almost all hotels in Union Streets were fully booked...but I found one pleasant and tidy inn on 24th street... I always dream that I could stay in one lovely victorian style house and my dream came true when I stepped my foot in... More

I'm not usually into the B&B thing but I love San Francisco, and this was an absolutely brilliant way to experience the city. The home is a beautiful Victorian, full of great details like the wrought iron spiral staircase leading to the rooftop patio. The staff is excellent, and Marty in particular went out of his way to make my... More

A friend of mine recommended the Inn San Francisco to myself and six of my friends who were meeting for our 20 year college reunion. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. The common rooms were comfortable for catching up with old friends and making new friends. The rooms... More

After combing the Internet for a place to stay in San Francisco that was a good value yet offered something out of the ordinary in a good location, I landed on the Inn San Francisco. Upon arrival I had high expectations. Those expectations were exceeded from the moment we drove up to the property to the time we checked out.... More

Thanks, Tripadvisor! I picked the Inn based on it being your Number 1-rated, San Francisco B & B on your site. I wasn’t disappointed because of the: 1) FOOD: Joseph Schmidt truffles are replenished in the guest rooms every day and penny candy in lidded jars are also available in just about every room. (I didn't come to San Fran... More

The incredible selection of ripe fruit (amongst many other breakfast possibilities) was a treat we brought up to the rooftop to eat and watch the spectacle of the fog roll in. Later in the day, after book-hunting, a walk across the city and the Golden Gate Bridge, the hot tub at the Inn was unforgettable and much needed. That evening... More

A great place place to relax, property is lovely but the staff and management make the difference... A great balance between attentive, informative and caring with a touch of eccentric all helps perfect the recipe. If you want to feel at home and relaxed and feel some of the real past and present of San Francisco we highly reccomend to... More

This place totally exceeded my expectations, every tiny detail is taken care of to make your stay perfect. The staff, the decoration, the smell of fresh sheets and soap, the fresh flowers, the soft music during breakfast... I could go on and on... oh, & after a long day of bart, cable cars, bridge crossing, photoshoots, shopping & usual tourist... More

On my first trip to San Fransisco I stayed on cloud 9! There are not words beautiful enough to describe the pleasure of staying at the Inn. My partner and I were recieved with a homecoming welcome and I have been homesick ever since we had to leave. I am in love with their hot tub, and find myself comparing... More
