The staff and owners here are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation they handed us a map they had put together personally with numerous possiblites all within a ten minute or so walk. In fact, I don't think I have stayed anywhere where there were so many interesting and high quality places to eat... more

We stayed last week for 3 nights before we went to San Jose for a conference. Saw some not so nice things about The Inn and the neighborhood. So, the neighborhood. OK it is not the tourist district but we came back every night on the bus and walked the two blocks to the hotel without a problem. Many folks... more

This B&B was recommended by friends…Thank you. The hotel was friendly and welcoming and of a very high standard. We would recommend it without hesitation. Especially enjoyed the hot tub, and panoramic view from the roof. The Mission area is full of groovy restaurants and bars. Had a wonderful visit. Thanks. more

A beautiful place to stay. Not too far from town if you don't mind figuring out the train or the bus. The area had some good food/entertainment within walking distance. the rooms are elegant and comfortable. The Great Room is the best for hanging out and reading or just having a cup of tea. more

Friends, the moment you walk into this place, you enter an amazing time warp - here is a beautifully preserved Victorian mansion with all the decor combined with a peacefulness about the home that instantly draws you in. Marty at the front desk is genuine, hilarious and knowledgeable about the building and San Francisco. He took his time with us... more

The Inn was extremely welcoming, comfortable, and friendly. My room was exactly as billed, and charming to the nth. The rooftop deck is not to be missed. Breakfast was from 7am-11am, because as Marty says "just who's vacation is it??". The variety, quantity and quality of breakfast was lovely. The little flowered terrace in the back was adorable. The two... more

We had been walking 18 days on the John Muir trail when we came to the Inn San Francisco. The Inn was like a dream. The beds and rooms were most comforting to us. The breakfast consisted of the freshest fruits, excellent quiche and breads, and great coffee. Everything was done just right, with the smell of fresh flowers in... more

Friends of ours from Colorado recommended the INN and what a pleasant surprise it was. The INN is an old Victorian with georgeous antique furniture and excellent food. Any questions about this beautiful city, just ask the owner, Marty, who knows everything about the city and will talk about it as long as you will listen. You can also pet... more
