I can't say much about the hotel but, had the best location to go to the cherry blossom festival. The bed was the most comfortable one that we had ever experienced in all our travels. The maid, the front desk personnel and the valet were very friendly and efficient. We had breakfast there every morning - four days. The wait... More

I love staying at the Kabuki. It's in a nice safe neighborhood. There are lots of great places to eat and shop and the spa down the street. The place is clean and quiet. If you like baths ask for the deep bathtub. It's fantastic.

My friend and I went up to San Francisco for a conference which was located at the Hotel Kabuki so, for convenience, we stayed there as well. The room was okay with above average linens but really small towels. The wooden window covers which acted as "curtains" were also hard to open and close. The bathroom was odd since it... More

It was my second stay with Hotel Kabuki. The hotel is really nice and in a great location in Japantown. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is always wonderful and very friendly. They thanked me for visiting them again. I was asked if I had any room preference. I asked for a garden view.... More

I want to start with the fact that I have been in hospitality for the last 30 years and travel extensively. I believe I know service when I see it. The Hotel Kabuki is located beautifully within walking distance to great restaurants and interesting shopping. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but the staff was what impressed me most. I... Stunning, clean facility. Very professional service at the front desk. A few minor maintenance issues handled immediately. And very serene. Hotel offers one of the best breakfast buffets for a great start to your day. Took advantage of the soaking/whirlpool tub at the end of our busy days. Vow to go to the spa next trip! We loved daily strolls... More

We had a wonderful visit and the hotel was in a great location for what we wanted to do, SF's Symphony Hall. It had very nice amenities, although a little short on dresser space, excellent house keeping staff and a fabulous concierge service, Joe.

My visit was with my grandson living just a mile away. We did take a walk through Japantown. Don't miss it. Lots of activity. I had my car and was reluctant to pay the $27 house parking fee, no in-and-out privileges. I still parked in the underground garage (with large car spaces) and paid the ticket price. Much cheaper. I... More

This hotel popped up at a really great rate, we looked at the web-site and decided to book it. We are not Japanese and we do not eat Japanese food. Just be aware the hotel is located in the Japantown portion of San Francisco, trying to find a local restaurant with cuisine our family could agree on was our only... More
