The Chateau is very romantic as you can see on the photos, beautiful decoration, details on every wall...the furniture, the hole place has this style. Near of Alamo Square, at least three lines of buses around two walking blocks. There is also a parking lot for $25 day. The breakfast is delicious and there's the happy hour with cheese, wine... Our second visit and it was lovely to be welcomed back like old friends. It was good to see Nico & Meredith again and they couldn't have been more helpful - we could only stay one night on this trip but they let us drop our luggage off early the day we arrived and kept it for us until late... More

Wanted to stay at a nice B&B away from the touristy section. Stayed 5 nights in the Luisa Tetrazzini Suite. The suite was absolutely gorgeous. The only thing I was surprised at was the old carpeting that still remained. The rest of the mansion had been restored, but the old pink carpet remained. The separate sitting room was quite nice,... Nice B&B. Friendly staff, always ready to help. The building is really impressive. We reserved a room with a shared bathroom because it was the only one left, but finally it was not an issue at all. We were pleased with our stay. The brunch breakfast on the weekends is amazing. By walk, you have access to a few nice... More

Our third visit!! Kind of says it all really. It was just like visiting good friends rather than just staying over in a bed and breakfast. Nico as on the last trips was an impeccable host/inn keeper and generally a really great guy. It was also great to catch up with Meredith, again her service and approach was faultless. The... More

We spent 5 days in the Lily Langtree suite and could not have found a more delightful place to stay in San Francisco. The Chateau is beautiful, quirky, classy and full of character. The decor is fits the era and the whole feel is calm and dignified. Our suite was advertised as being "in the basement", but with the hilly... More

My family and I stayed for 3 nights at this delightful B&B. It's very quirky and charming. The rooms are lovely (and no TV - how fantastic. You don't go on holiday to watch TV anyway.) I normally sleep very badly in hotels, but our bed was extremely comfortable. The B&B is a bit outside of the centre of SF,... More

Stayed two nights at chateau tivoli, excellent service from Nicholas and his team, very helpful and friendly. Made a real change to stay somewhere with such character instead of a run of the mill hotel room. Weekend champagne brunch was fantastic as was cheese and wine served in the parlour in the afternoon. A highly recommended stay.

We had an awesome room here. Well appointed and the breakfast was good. It is such a unique place to stay in SF. The room was a little expensive at ~$200 per night, but many places in SF are much more expensive.

I was shocked. The historical house was beautiful and wonderfully located only a few blocks from the famous Alamo Square park. The actual room we stayed in (the Enrico Caruso room) was very nicely decorated. But, there was no breakfast the next morning! They had a "continental breakfast" available - which basically amounted to cereal and toast. This was shocking... More
