This was our first trip to San Francisco, and what a perfect place to stop. It was ideal to walk to many of the sights including Fisherman's Wharf, and it is surrounded by great places to eat. But more importantly, the Inn was welcoming and full of character. The decor has a Victorian feel with lots of interesting artifacts. As... More

...location, service, comfort of room, attention to detail. I even purchased a robe from the same company similar to the one they had after we got home. Nice bath, beautiful garden, interesting guest and fabulous hostess and host. Service from before you arrive until you leave.

This is one of the most wonderful places we have stayed at yet. Were do I start...Called ahead to to see if I could drop of our luggage early. They were more then accommodating. The gentlemen at the front desk gave us great direction to the Top of the Mark restaurant. When we returned about 90 minutes later our room... More

My husband was on a work trip In Martinez CA and I was planning to meet him for the weekend 7/10 to 7/13. So while looking for a place to stay in the city I came across The Union Street Inn- thinking that we would not be able to stay here as the reviews kept mentioning reserve way ahead of... More

My wife and I stayed here three nights. The location is nice as you are out of the tourist area and have a bus line on the street. Trust me it is to far to walk to most locations in SF, plus the hills. The Inn has worked out a deal to park your car at a parking garage that... More

We had a wonderful few days here. Our bedroom and ensuite were perhaps a little on the small side and perhaps a little tired, but they were clean and comfortable and full of character. We loved it.Jane or Kit cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning and we sat in the quiet little courtyard to enjoy it.Early evening there was always... Just a quick stay for a birthday celebration, but it is a lovely B&B. Location is great, as we were able to walk to La Folie for dinner. Breakfast was good and met a few people from around the world. Will come into San Francisco for a great stay at the inn.

The Union Street Inn turned out to be a perfect place for is to stay during a too short recent stay in San Francisco. The Union Street location in the heart of Cow Hollow was perfect. The inn is surrounded by lots of restaurant choices all within a couple of blocks. Buses and cabs are easy from here, but you... More
