very nice Victorian hotel My second visit and stayed here both times and will definitely stay again. Only downside there was no AC in room. Nice selection for breakfast. Comfortable beds. Parking across the street at a very reasonable rate. Good walking distance to Japan town or bus to anywhere felt very safe for 2 women traveling for girls trip

Nice and charming hotel located in quiet, clean and beautiful area of San Francisco not far from Japan town. Hotel is beautiful Victorian style building with nice vintage furniture and décor. Seems that old lift of Queen Anne is a time-machine that takes you to another era. And it is really interesting experience. We have easily reached Painted ladies landmark... More

The Queen Anne is a beautiful hotel. The hotel is furnished with Victorian antiques in the lobby and the bedrooms. The service is excellent. Bus routes nearby take you all over the city. The only drawback is there is no safe in the room for valuables but you can use the hotel safe. The location is near Japan town The... More

Cookies and Sherry were nice but view from room terrible Blankets on bed so heavy you couldn't move ! Asked for a taxi and they called a town car with no meter and driver was nice and polite but wanted six dollars more than the trip was normally ... Who knows what would have been charged if I didn't know... More

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. A great welcome by John. Throughout the days we were greeted by the best staff of any hotel I have ever encountered.Roberto,Viska, Mike, Mar and John were very upbeat, pleasant and were happy to assist with any questions we had from traveling about the city to making suggestions and reservations for dining.... This was our 5th or 6th time there, and we always get the same room. Love the decor, the friendliness of the staff, and the location. Easy to get to town with their town car service, and it is close to buses going in all directions. The Fillmore has loads to do as well. But, the breakfast is still all... More

This hotel bills itself as a Bed and Breakfast but it has about 48 rooms so it better qualifies as a Victorian style hotel. It's a bit west of Van Ness on Sutter. Very easy to find. The neighborhood is called Japan Town. Room sizes and furnishings vary and prices can be steep. The building is over 100 years old,... More

The rooms are beautiful, the lobby is cozy . My room was clean and comforable. Wifi was fine. Breakfast was standard, and they have a nice shuttle to wherever yoiu want to get downtown every morning. Location is slightly further away than optimal

The hotel is a bit older, but great place to stay. The decor is definitely Victorian, filled with antique furniture and paintings. The lobby had the fireplace going which made it feel cozy as soon as you walk into the lobby. The staff were very helpful in getting our family settled into our room. They offered cookies, coffee and tea... More

Everything about the Queen Anne is fine - room was fine and what was expected from the website and price point. Breakfast was fine. Shower is super low for my tall husband. What we did not enjoy was the lack of service when checking in/out and calling afterward for a lost object. We had made a few special requests for... More

Thank you Starla579, Sometimes it's difficult to acknowledge every guest right away when we are checking others in but we aim to do this every time. I'm glad to hear that our staff honoured each of your requests for the room. Since numerous lost and found items are reported on a daily basis, we have put one person in charge... More
