This is a cute victorian-style decorated hotel that is ideally located close to the centre. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Would benefit from some renovation and a bigger breakfast variety, but overall we were very pleased from our stay. Would recommend it.

I stayed for a night for some sightseeing, never regretted the choice. Very nice and helpful staff, room was ready early to store the luggage. Great interior design if you like Victorian furniture, it features a lounge with complimentary coffee and water. The room was spacious and nice, I would stay again any time.

We wanted to stay in a historic hotel in SF. The fact that it was haunted made us love it more. Our check in was quick and easy--arrangements were even made at that time for a shuttle to take us back to the airport at 5:00 AM. Our room was clean enough and large. The bathroom was clean and surprisingly... More

I had the opportunity to stay at The Queen Anne Hotel in San Francisco in September 2014. When I walked in, I felt like I traveled in time. Since I am a fan of the Victorian era, I couldn't get enough of the decor. The service was top notch, concierge was helpful when I needed to know the area and... More

Really cool hotel. Very helpful and knowledgeable concierge helped us with suggestions for a tour and got us private car service to the airport. Comfy rooms and cozy lounge with fireplaces. Decent breakfast and hot coffee. They have sherry and cookies in the evening, but we missed them both nights. Great location. It was a fun place. Worth a stay!

We spent four nights at the Queen Anne late October 2014. The hotel is an attractive old building, beautifully renovated (from girls school to hotel), and is in an excellent location. We had the corner fireplace room, which was nicely appointed, spacious and perfectly suited our needs. Given any hotel in San Francisco will be well located for some attractions,... More

Hotel in old building, Silver Age style, really Victorian time atmosphere, wooden furniture, decor. Locates in the Japan district, not walking close to down town. Excellent staff , always ready to assist. Good breakfast. The room is not large, but for SF it's normally and not expensive. Parking place is available and trolley/bus stops are several meters from entrance. The... More

Stayed for 1 night on a Monday in September 2014. The price quoted prior to stay matched the price on checkout- no hidden fees. The hotel rooms matched the pictures posted on various websites including the hotel's site. Pro: - Charming and historic, period furniture to match the exterior. - Staff was excellent, they made you feel very welcome (almost... More

It's clear from the architecture that this hotel has history. Wonderful lounge area with antique furniture, open fires and a dramatic wooden staircase. Staff are really friendly and helpful however the room felt in dire need of redecoration and maintenance (window lock for example didn't feel secure). All in all this hotel isn't far off from being a really great... More

Felt super welcome from the first minute. Staff very helpful and nice. Stayed with the whole family in a large room (in Sep 2013) and we'd stay here again anytime. Breakfast room a bit dated, but the rest so wonderfully - English.
