I was struggling to find family accommodation for a family of five for a few days in San Fran - some of the vacation self-rentals I contacted didn't want a booking for just three days in August. So I booked the Queen Anne hotel, a large split-level suite including two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge and patio. The staff at the... More

Beautiful old place. Full of antiques making the lobby to be quite a sight, as well as the ample hallways and staircases. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room very quite large with a very comfortable bed and large very clean bathroom. It is not luxurious or new and modern, but very quaint.

Lovely Hotel with the special charme of the good old times. The rooms are very nice and kept in great shape. We enjoyed the afternoon tea with a wonderful Sherry. The breakfast was fantastic. The only little area for improvement are the old windows. Some don't close entirely. Breakfast time is 7-9. One hour longer would have been nice because... More

we were really pleasantly surprised with this quiet and very reasonable priced location! the staff was amazingly helpful and polite. The location is great. We would definitely stay here again. Easy to take a shuttle here from the airport. Quick walk to public transportation and not a bad walk to main downtown.

The staff at the hotel are very nice and bend over backward to be helpful. The place is beautiful if you are into old furniture. If I wanted a romantic time in San Francisco it could be a nice place to stay. However, if a traveler is looking for convenience and services, this place will probably not meet your needs.... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Plusside: Friendly staff, good location in the city, pricerange was good, overall a "cute" hotel The "averageside": the breakfast - I love carbs, don't get me wrong but the whole breakfast is carbs! And loads of sugar. The eggs... Nope, wouldn't go there. The room was cleanish but hanging a dated ironingboard beside fresh towels... More

Recently stayed at the Queen Anne for 5 nights. It was in a nice safe and quiet residential neighborhood with great access to public transportation within a short walk. It looks just like it does in the pictures. The room had an odd eclectic arrangement of mismatched furniture and art work that was a bit dated but everything was clean... More

I just checked in. The staff who checked us in were friendly but VERY slow. After entering my room, I saw there is noticeable brown mold in the tub corners and in the tile grout. It would send me running for Tilex mildew remover were I at home. As I left for several hours, I asked the French man at... More

We do care very much about guest service, our housekeepers clean very thoroughly and we take mold issues very seriously. In this case, a very small area of discoloration occurred where water got behind the caulking on top of the bathtub. It was treated but discoloration remained. We have removed and replaced the caulking. Three rooms were reserved for this... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in May. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms are comfortable and very quaint. Sherry and biscuits are a nice touch in the afternoon. Tea and coffee available at all times although not in the rooms. Breakfast was good. Bit out of city bit on a good bus route so easy to access everywhere. Staff... More
