I traveled to San Francisco with my friend prior to a girls spa trip in Calistoga. We both found this hotel beautiful and so full of history. We had a double queen room with a fireplace and a wonderful window seating area. The staff was fabulous and extremely helpful with our walking trips. The complementary breakfast was a great way... I stayed in this hotel with my wife for 10 days. The hotel has his English charme which immediately is noticed when entering the hotel; the furniture and divers antiques are really very beautifull; it's located in a quiet neighbourhood ( close to Japantown) and ideal for public transport. The rooms are also decorated in the same style so don't expect... More

Stayed last Saturday. They spared no expense in remodeling, the place simply exudes warmth and charm! The staff friendly and efficient, the breakfast was just fine (unless you're one of those persons that insists on fried eggs) and the afternoon tea in the incredibly comfortable lounge was serene and enjoyable. Our room was small, but adequate and I did see... More

Stayed there 1 night. It is more like a B&B than a hotel. At one time this was probably a top spot in San Francisco. The staff was very helpful and parked my car. It is old but charming with diverse antiques from different cultures and eras. It doesn't have all of the modern hotel amenities, but it is a... More

I have stayed there of 3 nights early September. The hotel is nice , old Victorian House. That reminded me my grand parents house in a bigger style. personnel was friendly at reception. Especially Laura at Night who gave us tips on nice restaurants to eat. Room was old my confortable and quiet. Despite noise at 2h00am, perhaps the ghost... More

We spent a great four days at this very special hotel, where the ambiance is wonderful, the people are friendly and helpful. Every room is furnished with antique furniture, lamps, rugs, paintings and curtains. Sherry is served from 4 to 6 every afternoon. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

This well-restored Victorian school building is centrally located near Pacific Heights on Sutter Street with public transportation outside the door. The decor is period and well done. The rooms are very spacious with good bathrooms. Well-appointed. Staff is attentive. Afternoon sherry is served. Negatives are minor. The breakfast is better than interstate motels, but not much. The rooms aren't air... More

We booked this hotel after reading a ton of reviews and really wanted a hotel that offered a true two room suite (this one does) as opposed to the suite is a bigger standard room. It was expensive but in line with other San Fran hotels in the area. It was close to everything you could want and we didn't... More

I was struggling to find family accommodation for a family of five for a few days in San Fran - some of the vacation self-rentals I contacted didn't want a booking for just three days in August. So I booked the Queen Anne hotel, a large split-level suite including two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge and patio. The staff at the... More
