We so enjoyed our stay at the Queen Anne Hotel. It is such a charming grand old hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find a working fireplace in the room, with a log, that we had a fire in early summer! :-) Everything about the hotel and our stay was comfy charming and relaxing. I really liked the cold water,... More

This is a grand old inn, filled with antiques and spacious sitting rooms, complete with fireplaces. It feels like any one of dozens of old inns in the countryside in England. The rooms are old-fashioned large (at least by big city standards) and very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is close to everything, including... More

We stayed here for 1 night during our SF visit. The hotel is really unique and quaint, definitely recommend spending some relaxing time in the lobby (we bought a bottle of wine and played cards near the fire place). The hotel is supposedly haunted and definitely has that feel but we didn't experience anything. I was hoping the breakfast would... More

Although I personally wouldn't have picked this place (my uncle booked the reservation ), it turned out to be a great experience. The front desk was very helpful and always attentive. They even let us take some breakfast to go the morning we woke up late :p

We stayed here for four night and had 3 rooms, all rooms were spotlessly clean and lovely Victorian furnishing, breakfast was included in our stay and you served yourself and self cleared after breakfast. There was 24hour coffee and water facilities available. There is no bar at the hotel, however you can take and drink your own drinking the lounge... More

Very nice Victorian hotel, well furnished rooms. Staff should improve its service, be more active not only when check-in and out. Better care during the breakfast would be appreciated as well. Non -working toaster etc.

Thank you Lubomir, We appreciate your staying with us. Glad staff took great care of you during check-in & check out. (You recommended that our staff be more active during other times... The reason they appear not to be is because we require them to remain in the lobby to be available for everyone there which also adds another layer... More

If you want to experience the manner in which San Franciscan visitors did in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This is the hotel to stay in. Formally a girls finishing school. Four floors, many room, some of the original flooring, stairway and furnishings. All guest rooms have their own bathrooms and updated facilities. Breakfast is served in the... More

Thank you for staying with us LindaLovesToGo, Glad you had a good stay! We've advised our team that it's time for deep cleaning again to reach into all the nooks and crannies where dust bunnies go to escape the Hoovering. More

This is a unique bed and breakfast near Pacific Heights. This is not a place for everyone, but if you like local history and you enjoy a charming homey feel, you will love this hotel. Once a finishing school for young society girls of San Francisco, there is a elegant flair that still remains within the walls of the hotel.... More

Thank You West Coast! You've made our day with your wonderful 5 stars/dots review! We are thrilled that you ventured out of the hustle & bustle of Union Square to discover our charming and historic accommodations. Afterall it's not that far (11 or 12 blocks) to come uptown to the lovely Pacific Heights district. And then your right in the... More

We spent two nights at the Queen Anne. They offer free limo service to any part of the city but you need to register first thing for slot you want. They also provide breakfast before you hit the hills of SF. The hotel is also in a safe area and was accessible with the bus line as well. We slept... More

Thank you very much for your kind review. These wonderful Victorian mansions have large bay windows that are wonderful to open for fresh air... Thanks for mentioning that so others will know! More

We stayed here for one night on a business trip, and being English, we expected something a little more with the name of the hotel. It was very old world to say the least with a very large chandelier in the lift! Never seen that before. Good night's sleep though. Breakfast was self service with a tip jar. Again weird!

Dear m4rcus2001, Glad you had a good sleep on our new pillow top mattresses as they've been getting high praise. Our spacious lift is definitely unique with its chandelier, mini couch, art work, and even a telephone! We like to think of it as a time machine to a relaxed and elegant bygone era. Our breakfast servers do work earnestly... More
