Stayed on the 9th floor for 2 nights. Comfortable bed and nice amenities. The blind and drapes need replacing as are tattered, and couldn't have the window open due to someone barbequing below the room. WiFi was hard to access, but a phone call to the desk rectified that easy enough. I didn't know how to work the overhead fan... More

Awoke at 2am Pacific to make flight for all-day meetings in San Francisco. Enjoyed a light dinner and was ready to sleep by 7:30. Arrived at the hotel looking forward to a cold, dark room. Upon getting to my stuffy, warm room I learned that the hotel has no air conditioning and the only way to cool the room down... More

The hotel is in a great location, right at Union Square, but overall, very disappointed in the hotel. There was a definite lack of character in the hotel and feel a lot of recent renovations were done on the cheap, from the vinyl replacement windows to the cheap feel in the bathroom. Booked the room months in advance and asked... More

We stayed here at the Kensington Park Hotel. It's very nice, maybe 1920's style. Service was very good , beds are so comfy and situated in a prime location at Union Square. You have several means of public transit to get around especially to Fishermans Wharf.

Nice city center hotel. Friendly staff with great recommendations. Room was nice on the smaller side but nice. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. The hotel is boutique and we loved this. The hotel offers tea in the afternoon which was a nice touch. The hotel as many cafes and restaurants close by which was helpful. We really enjoyed our... More

we cannot say enough good things about the hotel. The location , firstly, is excellent, Local to the Kensington District and across a bridge to downtown. The staff was fabulous, helpful, and most friendly. Against expectations, the restaurant proved to be to-notch. Room and bed excellent. What more could a guest want ?

I spent 6 days and 5 nights there and during my stay the staff was great. The staff were always so polite and helpful if you needed anything. David and Giovanni (Gio) helped me get a few tours booked included at Yosemite National Park and they really know great bars off the beaten path that have some really great food... More

I stayed here during a business trip earlier in the year. The hotel itself was quaint but also exuded that city touch, something I really enjoyed with the decor throughout the hotel. Location is excellent, right in the heart of the city surrounded by restaurants and even with a Macy's just a block away. The staff (valets especially) were extremely... More

Good location in the city, near Union Square with it`s abundance of dinner`s, restaurants and shops. From checking in onwards, all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Liked the tea and sherry in the lobby area every day!! A great stay and would go back to the hotel if in San Francisco again.
