after much research in tripadvisor and other travel sites, we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights this summer. the location is perfect with several great italian restaurants, bakery and coffee shops nearby. the room was clean and the decor really cozy. i cannot say enough about the hotel staff and front desk who were very helpful in ensuring our... more

I met my girlfriend from S Australia, I hadn't seen her in 25 years! From the shuttle they suggested to the directions they gave for sights around the city, it was all great. I would in particular like to mention Charles & Stan, both were fantastic concierges. They even carried our bags up to the 3rd floor! And everyone at... more

We stayed for 6 nights at The Hotel Boheme and thought it was fantastic. As we had done our homework and read other reviews we understood that this was a small boutique hotel with no lift and were expecting the rooms to be small maybe noisy if we were on the front. However, I am not sure if staying in... more

Pretty much on par with what you will read on this site. The staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are small/cozy and as with many places in San Francisco there is no AC. We have found the nights to be cool enough when leaving windows open. The night cap of sherry is a very comfortable touch. Location was great... more

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Although it is not a plush modern hotel, we certainly thought it was a charming little place. Yes, there are some stairs and no elevators, but so what.. it is only one floor to climb. We carried our own luggage. Didn't even think twice about it. We got there hours... more

I agree with weekapaug...I don't understand the rave reviews for this place. I looked over the hotel's website before booking, and nowhere was it mentioned that there is no air conditioning and there are no elevators. Seems like something people might want to know before booking a $200/night room, especially if they have health or mobility issues. There is also... more

We apppreciate that not every hotel is for everyone. Almost every guest loves hotel Boheme and our ratings are almost always excellent. We are a 15 room hotel. Our rates are $174 and $184 (not $200). We are not a 5 star hotel and don't pretend to be. That is why our rates are so reasonable for San Francisco. We...

I really don't understand how this hotel is ranked so high on TripAdvisor. My wife and I (we're in our late 20's) just stayed here at the end of July for 3 nights and were somewhat disappointed. Like other reviews mention, there is no elevator and TON of steps. If you're carrying up luggage, good luck! Check-in was fine, no... more

I was disapointed by Hotel Boheme, and for once i don’t share the general opinion of the T.A. reviews . OK, the deco is great , there is a special atmosphere , and the location is good , even if i prefer Union Square .... but , what else ? There is no elevator, be prepared if you have heavy... more

loved the boheme, the location ,the staff, small rooms but you don't spend a lot of time in your room in san francisco! we had a room at the back which had no view but was so quiet as the hotel is on a very busy street, and i believe the front rooms might be bit noisy. will def go... more
