We have just come back from 5 day stay here. Staff very efficient on check in though not overly friendly. We had a room on the 11th floor good views (of other buildings) but to be expected in a city. Delux room was spacious (limited furnishings) but comfortably with air-conditioning. Bathrooms spotless and comfortable. One disappointment was there was no... More

As always let's start with the positives. Excellent downtown location, convenient for everything including public transport and, more importantly, shopping. Redwood Room a draw though on the night of our stay it was closed for a private party. It was one of the reasons I chose the hotel; I think an email warning of this in advance would have been... From what I had heard over the years and the experiences I have had buying $20+ cocktails in the RedWood room my first actual stay here was underwhelming. I almost always stay at a Kimpton, they are just the best operators in the business and for less money could have this trip. The room I had on the 3rd floor... More

this is a nice hotel very close to Union Square. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. the bathroom needed a rehab / upgrade. the bar is very cool with a nice crowd. lobby is crowded and rather small but nicely decorated. be aware that the overnight parking is 52 dollars... so that is expensive...

We stayed at the hotel for a week, arriving the day before thanksgiving. Friendly staff, nice room with a great view at the 10th floor. The rooms were nice, but I missed a closet with shelves for clothes. The breakfast was good, friendly servers and fast service. The bar was good. The valet parking was good, but slow a couple... Stayed one night and absolutely enjoyed the hotel. Rooms are bright and trendy with a minimalist style. It's also in a great location. We walked around the city and enjoyed the fun and lights. Very hip bar/cocktail area but we couldn't get in since it was late on a Saturday night and they had reservations. Overall a very good experience... More

This hotel was recommended by a friend., with high expectations I stayed one night with an good overall experience, with an feeling that on surface this hotel want to be perceived as cool and trendy. Not so sure it delivers it all. The bar/club was great place to start /finish the Friday evening. The room was very bright with an... More

The right amount of natural elements crossed with color... beautiful...from the legendary redwood room to the artistic natural decor of the lobby to the vibrant mood setting color of the elevators to the elegant comfort of the room...loved it.

This is a modern and fashion hotel. Trendy I may say. It's definitely in a good location, staff is awesome and rooms are decently sized. On the first day we had a clog in the bathroom and they did send someone up very quick (it was Thanksgiving day). And sent someone else the next day too. So no complaints there.... More

It is a 4 stars hotel - a happening one. I went alone, without my partner, for a breakfast meeting in SF, and booked this hotel, because it was cheaper than 5 stars hotels, and it was only for 1 night stay. I did not expect much. But - I got more: A friendly team at the front desk, which... More
