I stayed for 9 nights in Andrews Hotel. please keep in mind this is a 3 stars hotel. Nevertheless being a 3 stars hotel usually I found out that that 3 and 4 stars hotels try to excel in friendliness. Unfortunatly this was not the case here. The first couple of days the reciption was not friendly at all. But... More

The location is quite good, but thats about it. Note that the neighbourhood gets bad, as you walk few blocks west ftom the hotel: Lots of drug addicts and homeless people quite near to the hotel. The good walking direction is towards the Macy's or the Nob Hill. The hotel is not a good deal if you pay more than... More

We loved staying here, helpful staff - lovely rooms - handy to middle of city (and transport, shopping, nightlife, eating out). Breakfast served on each floor every morning, only two blocks from Union Square - would highly recommend

Lovely room, lots of restaurants nearby, easy to get to, helpful front desk stafff, lovely continental breakfast and coffee, we were given a free glass of wine in the restaurant for each day we stayed. Beautiful architecture. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Andrews Hotel for 5 nights during September. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though fairly basic. The only negative was the small size of our room. There was no real place for us to put our bags, which made living out of a suitcase even more of a pain than usual. Our travel companions got a... More

This is an older style hotel, the building is historic which gives it it's charm, very San Fran. Its not modern but for the price it's clean, has a comfy bed, free wifi and it's right in the centre just 2 blocks from Union square where all the hop on hop off buses are, shopping and cable cars down to... Stayed for 3 nights. The small rooms are fine, the bathroom is tiny but perfectly functional. Beds are large and comfortable. The decor is old but some of the older features in the building are really interesting and make a lovely change from soulless corporate chains. Staff are very helpful. Their partner restaurant Fino is a great Italian restaurant and... More

The only reason to stay at this hotel is for the structure itself. If you want to stay in a historical hotel this the place to be. I think there is no reason for mold in the bathroom in any hotel-- old or new. The bathroom is very tiny-- very tiny. Barely room for one person. It's very noisy so... More

This hotel puts you in a great location to get around. The hotel is small so not over crowded. Very clean and comfortable. Coffee, rolls and fruit served in the mornings on every floor. Coffee and water in the lobby all day. Complimentary glass of wine from Fino's connected and right next door. The staff is there 24/7. They are... More

The Andrews Hotel is both quirky and charming. It has been updated without losing its original features and style. The rooms are small, the bathrooms particularly tiny, but they are more than adequate. The location is fabulous and the hotel is very good value for money as a simple breakfast is included. I will most definitely stay there again on... More
