Quirky lodge (hotel quality) accommodation a stones through from the hustle & bustle of the Castro, a fantastic location to walk from to explore the area. The renovated rooms have been done very well & everything was there you need. The person on check-in could have been a little bit friendlier (wasn't rude in any way however), but this is... More

I am currently spending my last night here at Beck's (6 nights). The rooms are newly renovated with a clean, modern, minimalist design. The rooms are also very clean, comfortable beds, and full climate control. The location can't be beat if you want to be in the Castro district. Walking distance to all gay bars/restaurants (5-10 minutes). Centrally located to... More

You can't beat free parking in San Fransico. Shower water kept going from hot to cold. Although we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, someone came in anyway. Other than that, our stay was great.

Stylish minimalist rooms lovely shower bathroom with parking. Handy for tram and Muni to downtown or visiting friends relations in the area...sun deck was nice on a sunny day, not in a fog zone in any case. On site laundrette but get key from reception. Good Japanese restaurant across the road. Roll down to Church street Muni, take that to... More

Loved this place, looks like a cool retro roadside motel from the outside, but more like a swanky 5 star hotel on the inside in the newly renovated rooms. The location was incredible, walking distance close to all the great restaurants and clubs in the Castro, and just a streetcar ride away from most other attractions in San Francisco. Will... More

The room was newly renovated, very clean and it has been quiet at night time. The connection to the city center via the street car / muni is very good. The Castro ist just around the corner. Parking is free. All in all a very good place to stay in SFO.

We stayed at the Beck's for four nights in early July. Room was comfortable and updated - I would suggest requesting one of the renovated rooms. Parking was not a problem and we were always able to find a decent space - did seem to get close to being full at certain points. For what other hotels charge for parking... More

Becks is perfectly located for easy access to the F line and the sights of San Francisco. The renovated rooms are well appointed and though not huge, more than perfect for 3 of us with tons of luggage. Bathroom is awesome and beautifully renovated and the shower a real treat. The wifi is great with multiple access points and we... More
