Our destination was Bar Harbor, but upon arrival in a warm afternoon, in mid-September, practically all lodgings had a "No Vacancy" sign and others were in a ridiculously expensive bracket!. As I told an hotel employee: "We're not searching for a palace. We want a comfortable bed to sleep!" We found the best of two worlds at the Llangolan Inn... More

We stayed in Cottage #6 for three nights, September 7-9, 2015. We had three adults and one dog in our party. This cottage was very comfortable because it has two bedrooms and a full-size futon in the living room. This gave all of us our privacy and yet allowed for "together" time watching TV in the living room and fixing... More

I absolutely loved the little cottage that we stayed in, it was very cozy and felt like home. The room had one bed, a kitchen table with two chairs, two little chairs, dresser, tv, bathroom/shower, and kitchenette. You do have to bring k-cups for the Keurig. The owners were so friendly and personable. The cottage #7 that we stayed in... More

I spent 4 nights at the cottage with 3 of my friends. It was perfect for our needs. There was a living room and two bed rooms. It was an easy drive to Acadia National Park and to downtown Bar Harbor. Peter was friendly and made our stay enjoyable. The cottage was clean and the basics were in the kitchen... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. Besides being close to Acadia National Park, the Inn was very cozy, comfortable and clean. The oweners are also very nice. We will come back!

My friend rented a small cottage for a week here and it cost $900. It was Very small with one double bed and a futon sofa, tiny bathroom, just a very little kitchen area, compact but o.k. I found the owner to not be all that friendly & they have a crazy rule that folks who rent the cottages cannot... More

In response to " MunchaOcala" We're sorry you were not the person who stayed with us to personally experienced our hospitality first hand and we are not able to legally provide our Bed and Breakfast offerings to the Cottage guests without a license to operate a restaurant. Perhaps the family who stayed with us can give us a call directly... More

We were only able to stay one night at Llangolan Cottages, but I would have gladly stayed longer, and will certainly book here again when I am in the Bar Harbor area. Our cottage was very pleasant. It was super clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens, and the kitchenette had everything we needed to have a simple... More

The staff was friendly, and we needed a place to stay. Since the other cabins were taken, we opted for the larger Cabin 3, which had twin beds in one room and one double in another plus a kitchenette. The place was very clean & mattress was nice and firm, but we noted some of the pillows were as hard... More

We stayed 2 nights at these cottages on the tail end of our Bar Harbor trip. We wanted close access to Acadia, but did not want to stay down town. We walked in and the owner was so nice and set us up with a cottage for 2 nights. Very easygoing, gave us some tips about the area. Cottage 4... More
