This is a completely average motor lodge, in need of a good cleaning and updating. The "breakfast" is below average and the breakfast area is tiny and crowded. I cashed in Marriott points to stay at this hotel (I live in hotels 8-9 months a year for work). This is only okay, I would have stayed somewhere else if I had to actually pay the $199 they were asking people to pay. We stayed at the Fairfield inn right after labor day, September, 2004. The hotel is located on Eden St., busy route #3, which makes entering and exiting the property tricky at times. The accommodations at this hotel could use some updating, but overall, our stay was pleasant. The continental breakfast was okay; it would have been nice to have more items on it. However, you can't beat the convenient location to the Nova Scotia Ferry. more
