Stopped in for a night to check out Bar Harbor. We booked here because it seemed to be the most reasonably priced in the area. We got there around dinner time and took the shuttle into downtown. Which was great however it stopped running at 9 pm and we planned on staying out much past that. We ended up walking... More

This inn has everything you need. The walk (1.2 miles) into downtown Bar Harbor is a bit treacherous because of a very poorly maintained sidewalk. They do have a free shuttle bus, but we are walkers and it's usually just easier - but the uneven, unlighted side walk changed our mind for the next trip into town. The bike trail... More

Upon check in I inquired why I was charged more than when I booked the room. I was told by the supervisor on duty that the website I used charged less and that the actual room was more. I protested and showed them my confirmation email. They agreed to give me the room for that amount. When we entered the... More

Ms. Woodbury, Thank you for your review. I would like to take a moment to address some of your recent issues during your stay at the Acadia Inn. You did book your room on another online booking site, which did offer a lower rate than what we had you in our system for, this was our mistake and once you... More

Welcoming the minute you interact with the font desk staff. Room were larger then most in Bar Harbor area. Clean as it gets. Will book here every year for as long as we visit Bar Harbor. Thanks for the enjoyable stay and the great rate.

We enjoyed staying at Acadia Inn. The location of the hotel made access to Bar Harbor easy by foot or the Island Explorer bus. The rooms were very clean and employees very friendly. The breakfast choices were such that everyone could find something they liked. We enjoyed crackers and cheese in the lobby at the end of our busy day.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. You can't beat the location to the park and the town. I thought the $180 price was reasonable for high season, but would have loved to have been able to use AAA. The rooms were comfortable and a huge plus was being able to sleep with the... More

Nicely located close to Bar Harbour, about a 15 minute walk to the city but I would recommend the free bus since the walk is not that nice. Also very close to the park entrance. We booked this as a walk in so the price was a bit high for this level of hotel. Room was nice and clean and... More

The location of Acadia Inn is great!, only about two miles and under five minutes from the park entrance! The rooms were also really cozy and the bedding was very comfy! Also another very nice perk of Acadia Inn is that the FREE Island Explorer shuttle to downtown stops here every 15 minutes! A great way for us to get... More
