My husband I stayed at the Acadia Inn during December (2013). The Acadia is a small quaint property, extremely clean and very comfortable. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and include all the usual amenities. The bed and pillows was extremely comfortable and staff at the front desk very helpful and polite. We had a pleasant stay and wouldn't... More

We stayed here for two nights when in town for the Mount Desert Island Marathon. The price was right, and the rooms were very nice. Perhaps the only problem was the elevator was extremely slow (so we only used it when we had our luggage). The staff was extremely customer service oriented. When we needed some way to attach bag... Acadia Inn is a great place to stay. The hotel staff was quite knowledeable, and the facilities were very nice. And, despite the best efforts of the federal government to ruin our vacation (i.e. - the 'shutdown'), we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days in Bar Harbor. If/when we return, we will be staying with you again!

We really enjoyed our stay (two nights) at the Acadia Inn. The staff was very helpful and the place is an excellent bargain in a town with a lot of overpriced hotels. I also really appreciated that they boxed and mailed a couple of expensive shirts that we had left in a closet in the room. Many hotels won't take... More

Great Hotel! I'll be back to run the marathon again in a couple of years and will stay again. I really appreciated the restaurant being open early for the race participants. The only thing that would make it better is if you had a late check out for people participating in the marathon!

Acadia Inn is in a great location. The staff was friendly. The rooms / inn were clean and affordable. Breakfast was free and there was a large variety of foods to choose from. This inn was one of the only ones that did not require us to pay for two rooms because we have four boys. The only complaint we... More

The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The property was obviously actively cared for inside and out. The rooms were quiet- no auto noise and thick walls and quiet halls, better than many of the big chains we have stayed at. We stayed over Columbus day, the last big hurrah for the season and even as full as they were... More

I stayed 3 nights at the end of October. The staff were helpful and friendly; I had a choice of rooms and my King bed room was huge and cosy. Breakfasts good apart from having to use disposable plates and foam cups (I always travel with a china mug for this reason). The hotel is sparkling clean with good quality... More

Very well appointed hotel and great value for money. Stayed there 2 nights last week and were really impressed. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpul. Guest laundry room was very useful and good value too. Location is a short drive from the centre of Bar Harbor, we walked there both nights - 15 mins walk I would say... More

After a horrible experience with the Quality Budget Inn-we left and shifted to the Acadia Inn. Brand new-so everything is nice. very good included breakfast too. Backs up to the Acadia National Park-a trail actually goes from the property directly to the park. A great trail run!
