The staff at this hotel really go above and beyond the call of duty. During most hotel stays I deal with the front desk upon checking in and sometimes checking out, but honestly I usually just leave and take my bill. I never encounter or talk to housekeeping but something about the staff at the Acadia Inn had me speaking... more

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Priced right for someone not looking to stay in luxury. Just up the road from Bar Harbor Center. Near the entrance to Acadia National Park. We had a great room on second floor. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent continental breakfast in the morning. Staff was courteous and helpful. Recommended a number... more

We traveled to Acadia with some friends for a quick weekend getaway and had a great time. The rooms were spacious, clean and well kept. The breakfast was a treat in the morning and offered a wide variety of 'easy' breakfast items. The shuttle into town was so convenient i don't think we got in the car more than once.... more

I cannot say enough about our stay at the Acadia Inn! We booked for three nights on the 'famous package'. I was hesitant at first but when I sat down to think about it, the cost really seemed like a deal - although the reservationist did mention the price is different during peak times - I still found this to... more

We recently stayed at the Acadia Inn. It's about one mile from downtown Bar Harbor and a short distance to the entrance to Acadia National Park. The Island Explorer, a free shuttle bus, picks up at the hotel and drops you off at the Village Green in Bar Harbor. It ran every 30 minutes. We had a room with two... more

Stayed here a few years ago when the Acadia Inn was brand new. It was and is moderately priced, with a convenient location near town and Acadia National Park, not much in the way of frills, but a small fridge in the room, complimentary breakfast (all starch save for hard boiled eggs) guest laundry and helpful front desk staff made... more

We booked a 3 day Getaway package at the Acadia Inn, and what a great find this was!! For $549 (for 2 people), we received deluxe king room accomodations, 2 fabulous dinners at the Bar Harbor Inn, continental breakfast each day, $20 gift shop credit, and choice of either a 2 hour harbor cruise or a bus tour of Acadia... more

This is a nice motel and we had a great, large room with fast internet access. The elevator kept breaking down, however. The hotel sells a package that includes a two hour cruise on a sailing ship and dinner for two at an excellent restaurant overlooking the harbor. The package is an excellent value. We'd rate the motel "excellent" if... more

It took a while and some searching to decide which of the many different hotels to book in bar harbor. We decided upon the Acadia Inn for two reasons: a. it seemed to fit our style b. the price was moderate compared to other area hotels. First we wanted a hotel not a B&B and we wanted a hotel that... more

My family enjoyed our stay at Acadia Inn while vacationing in Bar Harbor. The room rates were reasonable and very close to town and Acadia National Park. The free continental breakfast was very good each morning as well as the complimentary cookies and coffee throughout the day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a... more
