This motel offers a conveniently located, clean, and very family friendly lodging from where one can easily explore the town of Bar Harbor and Acadia, among other places (the College of the Atlantic is right across the street, for instance). It's a great place for kids: there's a pool, hot tub, and swing set out back, and when our ten-year-old... More

My family and I were recently in Bar Harbor for just 1 night. We stopped at several hotels which I will comment on as well as they were pretty bad. My advice is to always check the room before actually checking in. This was probably the 4th or 5th hotel we stopped at. The 2 young ladies at the desk... More

The staff at the Acadia Inn were wonderful! They were very accommodating and extremely pleasant. The beds on the other hand were very hard and uncomfortable. My boyfriend tossed and turned all night trying to find a "comfortable" spot so he could relax and I woke up each morning with a backache. I figured I could just push through the... More

This was about the fifth time that we've stayed at the Acadia Inn and we've never been disappointed. The rooms are spacious and clean,a decent continental breakfast is included, and the staff is helpful and friendly. There is also ample parking on the premises. The location is ideal - close to both an entrance to Acadia National Park and downtown... More

Comfortable room, reasonably priced, just outside downtown Bar Harbor. There is a shuttle to the town Center. Continental breakfast was the a perfect to start the day prior to hiking Acadia national Park which was just a few minutes away from the hotel. The heated pool and Jacuzzi were perfect after a day of hiking.

This was our first trip to Bar Harbor. Glad we booked at the Acadia Inn. This was a family trip and the Inn is perfect for a family stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff--every one of them--was so friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast can get a little jammed up if everyone arrives at once (the... More

Nice hotel, good location, very friendly stuff and reasonably priced. I came with my husband and 3 year old son and without a car. The shuttle service to Bar Harbor picks in front of the hotel so the commute was easy. Nice pool and small play area for kids.

This hotel provides a complimentary shuttle for the quick jaunt to downtown Bar Harbor. The front desk has someone available 24/7, and the staff are quite friendly. While the jacuzzi could have been warmer, the overall stay was nice.
