This B&B already has a ton of great reviews, but I'm going to add ours as well. My wife and I stayed at the Primrose Inn about two weeks ago and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We arrived in the afternoon, walked in, and found a memo on a desk explaining how to reach someone using the house... More

This was our second visit to The Primrose Inn. We are veteran inn goers and were so impressed by the high standards and warm, relaxing atmosphere created by Jeff and Katherine. They anticipate their guests every need providing dining, hiking, biking and walking guides, preprogrammed GPS systems to popular destinations and even a Kindle for guests' reading pleasure. Our newly... More

My husband and I arrived late due to travel problems, and Jeff, the owner was still so welcoming. We headed to a late dinner and mentioned where we would be eating (Cafe This Way, which was AMAZING!), and Jeff came to the restaurant to bring us an umbrella because it started raining! It was SO nice of him to go... More

A wonderful B&B experience. The inkeepers, Jeff and Catherine, do it right. Their attention to detail is unprecedented. From the check-in and welcoming tour to the creativity and quality shown in their breakfast and tea selections, everthing is perfect. Small items such as GPS's available to guests to assist in finding restaurants, go a long way to make your stay... More

My husband and I stayed at the Primrose Inn for our honeymoon in Bar Harbor. They have truly thought of every detail. The breakfasts all included a choice of either a savory or sweet entree, a baked good, a side dish, and a yummy fruit dessert (the strawberry short cake was my favorite!) along with your typical options of cereal,... We so enjoyed our 4 nights here. We stayed in Holland,7, 8, and Leffingworth rooms. All were beautifully appointed. The details here went on and on. The breakfast was beautifully presented and was so delicious!! These inn keepers have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and welcome. We have stayed at many b & b's across the US... More

Why can't all B&B's be run like the Primrose Inn? It is an exquisitly decorated, immaculately kept vintage home with all the modern convienences. Jeff and Catherine have expertly created the perfect B&B...truly a home away from home. It is set up with a 24/7 cold drink/water, tea and coffee availibility. Book and a DVD library to play on a... Where to start? There were so many GREAT things about the Primrose Inn. Jeff and Catherine thought of everything to make our stay the best experience of any B&B we have stayed at to date. A gourmet breakfast with choices; afternoon tea and dessert; 24-hour coffee and tea with travel cups in case you want to view the sunrise from... More

Innkeepers Jeff and Catherine thought of everything down to the little flashlight in ea room for strolling at night. They have a great selection of DVD's for your use and 24 hr coffee, pop and water. The breakfasts were wonderful as were the cookies at tea time. The rooms and the entire inn is spotless!!. They have lists of the... More
