Our room was perfect! Spacious, clean, quiet, private, and everything we were hoping for! Breakfasts were relaxed and the food was delicious. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. One of our friends who were also staying there remarked, "You know, it's almost like they really LIKE us!" Highly recommend!

The Manor House Inn is in the perfect location. It's only a few minutes walk to the waterfront, shops, restaurants and pubs. The innkeepers/owners, Stacey and Ken, are very friendly and helpful. A delicious breakfast is served buffet style and was different every morning for the week. We stayed in the Acadia West room in the Acadia Cottage. It was... More

This was our 2nd visit to the Manor House Inn and we loved it as much as we did the first time we stayed. The owners Ken and Stacey run a very good B&B, they have great staff to support them and the property is excellent in its comfort, the common space and porch are great places to relax. Joyce keeps... More

We spend 3 nights at this beautiful inn...but the food was bland, no variety- pancake and sausage one day, Quiche and sausage the next and French toast and sausage the last. The quiche was good. No fruit, no choices, no eggs, no cereal for the kids. We checked in and were given a brief introduction to the inn. Then, when... More

My wife and I have stayed at this B&B 4 times. We return because we like the amenities at this B&B. Breakfast is very good and hearty. This time we stayed in the rear house. It was very quiet, room size was large and had a great Internet connection. The location of this B&B is perfect. Three block walk to... More

We had a spacious room with fireplace. Very well located with an easy walk into town. The manager, Michael, was most accommodating switching our dinner reservations so we could enjoy a harbor view on a clear night.

My husband and I stayed at the MHI for 3 nights during our baby moon to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We stayed in the first floor room, which we found to be very comfortable, quiet (albeit being between the front door and stairs), and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning at 7:30 and coffee and snacks every... More

We had a really limited choice of accommodation in Bar Harbour as we inadvertently visited just outside the summer season so quite a lot of places were still closed. Luckily we managed to get a room at the Manor House in - Room 1. Personally, it wasn't our favourite Inn of our two week road trip but it was a... More

This was our second visit to the Manor House Inn and we enjoyed it as much as the first. We stayed in Boscobel 1, which is at the rear of the second floor. The room is small and had a small private bath, but it was fine for us, and the bed was very, very comfortable with plenty of support.... More

My husband and I stayed here late last May and loved it. Stacey, the owner popped in from time to time, but our visit was made by Joyce, the food preparer, and by the two hired hosts. Joyce was very accommodating to our vegetarianism and my need to stay sugar free. The inn is located within walking distance of most... More
