My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in September 2014. The Inn is great - with the friendliest and most pleasant owners and staff that you are ever likely to meet. Breakfast is superb and the room was of the highest order. We had a balcony over looking the bay - what more could you ask for. The... More

The Inn at Bay Ledge is a beautiful and comfortable bed-and-breakfast on the Frenchman Bay side of Mount Desert Island, just a few miles outside of Bar Harbor. With easy access to the town, Acadia National Park, and the mainland, the location allows you to enjoy the entire area without having to deal with the vacationing crowds. Twelve different accommodations... More

Last month we had the pleasure of staying at this inn for 10 days. Jack and Jeannie are wonderful hosts, warm and most helpful. Jack is quite the raconteur. We stayed in the Summer Cottage, which is a few yards away from the main building, with a private deck, a living room and bathroom below, and a bedroom upstairs. That... More

This B&B is great between the nice and quiet location, the great help there, the delicious breakfasts, the awesome view out the back of the house, the rocky beach right down some steps, comfy beds, comfy towels, and reasonable prices. The place is immaculately kept too not a loose board or flake of paint to be found anywhere :) The... More

Absolutely delightful facility with truly charming hosts. We messed up our reservation (entirely our fault) but our hostess responded very graciously to resolve the problem and (lucky for us!) a room was available. Our room included lovely details like books, extra linens, and even a ring holder that made us feel right at home. Fresh baked cookies and brownies, along... More

Yes, the Summer Cottage is pricey, but worth it. Sweet cottage with grand views, quiet privacy, places to sit and renew the soul. The delicious breakfasts, though not overwhelming in quantity (thankfully) were strong in quality. Hosts and staff warm and helpful.

We spent 3 nights at the Moose Cottage and were a bit disappointed in some aspects. While clean and nicely decorated, there were some oddities and things missing: only one trash can (in the bathroom), the exhaust fan is in the entryway about 8 feet from the bathroom, the bed was supported by wood and stone braces on each side... My husband and I and our very dear friends stayed here for 3 nights. It was the last leg of our Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Acadia trip and we certainly picked a winner! I can not say enough about this Inn. Jean & Jack are by far the best host & hostess I have met at a B&B in a... More

We recently spent 5 nights at Inn at Bay Ledge. There were 8 of us. (4 couples). The accomodations were perfect! The hosts Jack and Jeanie are such lovely people! The setting is absolutely gorgeous.
