Great location right on the main street across from the village green and two beautiful old churchs. Our room on the fisrt floor facing the street got a little noise from the cars coming into town early in the morning. Queen bed very comfortable. Bath very small; a larger person would find it uncomfortably so. Liked that we could walk to... More

Spent three nights in Bar Harbor at the Acadia Hotel. Staff was very helpful, room was neat and clean. Location for us was absolutely perfect! We only got back in our vehicle to go to Acadia National Park. As noted this is a converted house, so if you're looking for a 5-star room, this isn't it. It gives a very... More

As an alternative to the big sea-view hotels, the Acadia Hotel is a wonderful choice. In town, but just off busy Main Street, it is convenient to restaurants and shopping, and a short drive to Acadia National Park. The rooms are simply yet tastefully decorated, and the staff is eager to assist. In the evening, the front porch is a... More

We were only spending 1 night in Bar Harbor, so we wanted something that was nice and very convenient to the downtown area and the Acadia Hotel did not disappoint. As noted in several reviews, this is a converted house and the rooms do vary in size, so if the size of your room is important, you need to discuss... More

Spent two nights here while in Bar Harbor. The location is excellent, walking distance to everything in town and a short drive to Acadia National Park. The decor is like a visit to Grandma's house.....wait...I'm a Grandma...a visit to a charming old-fashioned B & B without othe breakfast. Our king room was good-sized with large windows overlooking the street in... More

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is an older home converted to a hotel. Our king room size was fine but the bathroom was very small, one person at a time. Hotel is walking distance to many good restaurants and shops. We would consider staying there again.

The Acadia Hotel is centrally located in Bar Harbor. The staff is wonderful and can help you figure out places to eat and explore. The porch is great for relaxing with a bottle of wine. The room wasn't large, but met all my needs for a place to stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay here. Great location and clean beautifully decorated room. Within walking distance of the shore, restaurants, and shopping. Acadia just a short drive or bus ride. We had a wonderfully time!

You really can't beat the location of this hotel - right in the center of Bar Harbor, but on the town green so a little quieter. The room was bright and cheerful, with lots of clean white surfaces. Coffee and tea all day at the desk and water and hot cider on the porch were definite pluses. Easy parking too!... More

We stayed at the Acadia for 4 nights, for the first two of which we could pay a spontaneous 30$ upgrade/night for the cadillac mountain suite and it was great. Big, beautifully furnished room, a great daylight-bathroom with a huge whirlpool-tub and a small terrasse where we could sunbathe a little on a sunny afternoon. After the two nights we... More
