This is an older motel but it is probably the most clean hotel or motel in which I have stayed. I loved the charm of it's 60's decor with the pristine maple furniture and beautiful snow white bed linens. There isn't a pool or hot tub but I would stay here again because of the value and the cleanliness of... More

Chose Edenbrook because of the location and price and could not have been happier. The hotel is close to a anything you need...shops, ANP, restaurants, etc. The room was spacious with two double beds, a refrigerator, desk and an extra sink in the living area which worked out well for me and my son. I could do my make up,... More

Stayed here on a recent photography trip to Acadia. My friends had selected this hotel on the advice of their local photography club who had stayed here before. It ended up being perfect. $75/night for a spacious room with 2 double beds, a small refrigerator, good water pressure and hot water in the shower, decent free wifi, and close proximity... More

This is the second time I have stayed here.I stayed in building 1 with a double and single bed.Very budget friendly for the Bar Harbor area.I have stayed at older motels right in town and this one is cleaner and friendlier! September rate of $64 a night compared to $140 in town for nothing better than less than half a... More

I stayed for 3 nights in June with my granddaughter and thoroughly enjoyed it! So did she (which is a lot for a 14 year old say). We were on the island to visit one of my daughters who lives on the "Quiet Side" and it was so nice to come back at the end of the day to a... More

The website does not do this place justice. Super Clean accommodations, offers bar fridges to keep light snacks and cold drinks, great for a couple of days if you plan to eat out a lot, Nice view of the ocean from the 4th building. Easy walking to downtown core where parking can be challenging.

Clean room, small with no frills. Right out of the 50s and 60s, typical roadside motel of that era. Inexpensive for the area, and a good value if you're looking for a place to sleep after a long day, not a destination in and of itself, however.

Small older motel with no frills, but it's been kept up quite nicely. Pleasant, helpful staff. Each room has 2 lawn chairs outside on the porch and assigned parking. Conveniently located near Bar Harbor and also Acadia National Park entrance. Our room was small, but there was room to move around. The furniture was old and the easy chairs sagged... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion of our motel. Most of what you is quite correct, except for the GFI plugs which are in the bathroom and under the air-conditioner. The remainder are not GFI's as you indicated. Again thank you for your review. Hope to see you again. Estelle More

The rooms we're very clean the bathroom was very clean.. In the perfect location 5 minutes from downtown bar harbor and 11 minus rom Acadia.. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends! when I'm traveling the only thing that matters to me is coming back to a clean room after a long day.

The Edenbrook was perfect for me. I lucked into a three night stay by seeing one of those flyers you get at the Visitor Center on I-95 in Kittery. Bar Harbor is way over priced because Acadia is the only national park in the northeast. This place was not the Comfort Inn as far as amenities but it was clean,... More
