The front office staff were probably the nicest I have ever encountered. Our site was not waterfront but we still had a great view of the bay and sunsets. There is a lobster guy at the campground who steams fresh lobsters for dinner that were amazing and affordable! There was no pool at the campground which would be nice. Good... More

Overall it was a wonderful stay. The facilities are cleaned daily. I liked the fact that employees made themselves visible at least once a day. The electronic sites have wonderful hutches with lock boxes that you can store anything in safely, the hutches are great for your kitchen gear so you don't have to clog your picnic table. They have... More

I booked this back in the beginning of January. I compared the Oceanside to the ocean view. I picked the ocean view over the Oceanside by the picture of the site for each. The ocean side is just a grassy plot, while the ocean side is slightly wooded. So, by the picture of the sites the partially wooded site was... More

We spent a week here this August, had a "full hookup" on the Ocean Side. They seem to own both Woodland and Ocean, about a mile from each other. It is expensive, was $89 a night which adds up. Full hookups included water, electric and sewer. Our neighbors on both sides complained to us about no cable TV (some other... More

We booked a tent site for a week, and were very pleased. We had a double tent site, with quiet neighbors every night, surrounded by trees but still close to the ocean, bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms were very clean, and it was great to watch the sunset from the little beach. I was shocked at how close together tents... More

Let me be very clear: the view is incredible. We love the grassy sight, sunsets, and being able to walk down to the water's edge. But if you happen to get stuck next to 10 people crammed into one small pop-up trailer who sit right outside your living area and bedroom and do nothing but argue, yell, drink, smoke, cuss,... More

We stayed three nights in early August, and will be going back. Staff members were nice and helpful and the park was very clean. The sites are very close together so if you are looking for seclusion I would go elsewhere, but once we got setup we were very happy with our campsite. Close to Acadia. We will be back... More

First let me say upfront that the managers/front desk people were awesome! And obviously our issues with this campsite were a "buyer beware" issue. if you have a camper and want to be near the water you NEED to have a water site. We booked nearly 8 months in advance and got a waterview..big mistake. The only view you get... More

If you plan to come to this campground, I strongly recommend a few things. First, book early and get a waterfront site. The view of the bay is pretty cool, and if you have kids, it is easy to watch them in the water. My wife talked to several people that said they had to move sites in the middle... More

KOA Oceanside is dynamite. We took one of the tent sites for a week and had a stellar time - our fourth visit. The tent sites are secluded yet close to the spotless bathrooms and showers. The showers themselves were even further touched up this year with fresh paneling and benches, adding yet another extra touch of class. The campsite... More
