The Woodlands campground was wonderful. Even before arriving, all of the staff we spoke to were very pleasant (Dotti, Donna) Mr. Bob showed us to our site and was very helpful. Our site was very private, mostly grass (which was nice) and surrounded by woods. The campground is very well maintained. The restroom facilities were immaculate. Great field for dogs... More

All staff were kind and always there to help. Our Cabin was clean and well equipt. I would like to go back again with my RV but only on e few sites along shore because most of sites are way to close to each other. You don't have any privacy. It looks like a big parking lot. There is a... More

We stayed here in a rented 32 foot RV for 3 days while enjoying the Bar Harbor area. This was a very nice and clean campground. The restrooms and showers are kept clean. There is breakfast and dinner available at two small concession trailers. One specializes in lobster and other sea food dinners. Both are convenient, good, and reasonably priced.... More

My family stayed here for 7days. Our camping site couldn't have been any better. We were right by the waters edge. My kids spent every minute they could exploring the water at low tide in search of sea creatures and shells. We had electric and water only. Not full hookups but the dump site was not far at all. The... More

I stayed on an RV site right on the water's edge. The door to my RV opened to the water also so my dog could lay in the sun, on her own plot of grass, without a leash. The site is large with water and electric. There is a dump station near the exit. Wi-fi is fast and I can... More

My boyfriend, myself, and our dog stayed in a pet friendly cabin at the Oceanside Bar Harbor KOA. We were extremely pleased with the cabin! Very clean and all the amenities were helpful and accessible. We had a brand new webber grill we could use outside our cabin, a fire pit, and outside seating. Inside was much larger than expected... This is not your typical KOA, but it was very nice! We stayed here for 4 nights during the summer while traveling the east coast and were impressed with its location. The sites are just grassy spots but good sized. It is well maintained but very rustic. The staff were very friendly and they have arts and crafts for the... More

Wonderful place to stay. The cabins are warm and comfy with everything you need (except a pan for the BBQ). The cabins are generally nestled in the woods and we had a 6 person one. The interior is woody with lots of windows to take in the view. There was a deck, screened porch and fire pit. There were only... More

We have stayed at KOA properties along the east coast from Florida to Maine. This one is no exception as to what we have come to expect from the KOA properties as far as facilities. We had a couple of interactions with the staff by phone prior to arrival and found them most helpful. Check-in was fast and friendly. We... More

This was our first experience with KOA and overall we were happy. We were at KOA Woodlands in cabin K12. At first we weren't thrilled because it is RIGHT next to the bathroom and the space initially appeared tight, but once we maneuvered the car we had a lot more room. The cabin had a queen bed, twin bunkbeds and... More
