This was our first experience with KOA and overall we were happy. We were at KOA Woodlands in cabin K12. At first we weren't thrilled because it is RIGHT next to the bathroom and the space initially appeared tight, but once we maneuvered the car we had a lot more room. The cabin had a queen bed, twin bunkbeds and... More

This KOA has 2 camping areas. One is a big open field with the coast on one side, the other is in a wooded section. We were put in the wooded section among the cabins. Our site was small, uneven, and not maintained very well. The ladies in the office were very nice but our escort to the camp site... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here on one of their tent sites for two nights while visiting Acadia National Park as part of a ten-day road trip. We have stayed at many campgrounds and this was, by far, the most cramped tent sites we've ever seen. There was no privacy at all. For some campsites, in order to get your... More

You need to take about 30min to go to Acadia national park loop. I will not choose this place if my main interest is in Acadia National Park. The site is good and all the equipment are fine. Everything looks good but it should not be marked as Acadia National Park Campground. I would like to take 30min to do... More

All the little things that have become the hallmark of our stays with KOA across the country - were missing. There was no personal interaction unless we sought it out with the staff. We only saw them we they were escorting new arrivals. The Cabin we rented had no kitchen to speak of (A microwave) but still we expected to... More

Had the great fortune to stay at this gorgeous campground in an ocean view site #376. While the site was tight to get into initially it was well worth it, as we had out own secluded site with a pathway to the bay. The sunset views were absolutely amazing! No sewer hookups are available along the waterline. Words can not... More

we got there and upgraded from a tent area to a deluxe cabin, worth it. we had our own cabins with a screened in porch, small living room, kitchen, microwave, frig, bunk beds for 2, nice "master" bedroom and your own bathroom and electricity. Well worth the money for not sleeping out in the elements if you are not a... More

This KOA is probably an exception compared to many other KOA's (see my other reviews): it is located on a perfect spot away from the road on Mount Desert Island and right at the shoreline with great views. Furthermore, it is really close to Acadia National Park. There is a free shuttle connection right at the entrance of the KOA... More

I stayed here in the tent sites. As far as tent sites go this was over crowded. I think there was one or two picnic tables for about ten sites to share and there was no extras here. As far as the service, it was OK, well below average though. I don't have time for below average campgrounds. I won't... More

We recently stayed there for a week long camping vacation. I was impressed with the service, camp store, and the various events held during the week. Who could complain about a lobster dinjner in camp. However,i was extremely disappointed in how cramped everyone seemed to be. This was not a quiet camping experience. Your neighbors were right up against you,and... More
