We chose this Motel based on it's reviews and the price. We didn't regret it. Yes it's smallish, not fancy and basically little trailers pushed together, but it's so much more than that. We stayed here in May 2014 so it wasn't super warm out, but this place was perfect for us and our friends. I have NEVER stayed in... More

We decided to try a cheaper Ma & Pa older style hotel after staying in places that were over $100. The receptionist was friendly & helpful. The rooms are very small, with not much space for bags. Bed was comfortable, bathroom small but adequate. An old style electric heater worked well. Could be noisy if people next door come and... More

This is a review that's been a long time coming. My husband and I stayed here two years ago and really enjoyed it. It was my first time staying in this type of roadside motel and it received such great reviews that we had to try it. The room was small but very cute and super clean which is always... More

We stayed for three nights and our requirements were fully met. It's an old but clean place located about 5 miles from Bar Harbour and only a short drive away from the entrance to Acadia National Park. The rooms are basic, but nobody should expect more for 49$/night. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure good. On top you... More

This is our second stay at Robbins Motel in Bar Harbor which provides amazing value for the cost of $49 per night. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. This year, our room was large with two desk areas, bathroom with a tub, and a very comfortable queen bed. TV and Wi-Fi are provided, and the Wi-Fi worked well. One parking... More

Stayed for two nights for a friend's wedding. Of course the Bride and Groom were at the Bar Harbor Inn, but having to pay for a flight, we opted for the off-season rates at Robbins. Boyfriend and I had a fine stay, but the place is NO FRILLS. Wood paneling, thin carpet, bare-bones. But it was clean and for a... More

As my husband and I say this was "glamping". We are seasoned travelers who have stayed in 5 star resorts and camped on the beach. We paid $49 a night to be within miles to the entrance of Acadia National Park (a must see) & downtown Bar Harbor (which was beautiful). Look- you pay $49 a night you have to... More

On our recent trip to Acadia we were very fortunate to have this motel reccomended to us. It was raining and our camping plans had vanished. The rooms were clean.(#1priority for us!)the owners were very helpful. We had such a good experience we stayed on an additional night and rented a second room for my son to join us.A good... More

We spent 9 nights at the Robbins Motel while we visited Acadia National Park. You can't beat the price. We paid $49 a night in September. The free Island Explorer bus system has a stop right across the road at the Bar Harbor Campground. We were able to leave our car at the hotel most days and ride the bus.... More

My husband and I have three kids, so we try to spend a weekend away every year to reconnect and remember we're more than just parents. This year, we decided to visit Bar Harbor since we both love the ocean. I figured we wouldn't be in our room much, so I looked for one that would be suitable for sleeping... More
