This motel was recommended by the Visitor's Center on our way into Bar Harbor as a very clean and inexpensive place to stay. They were right, we stayed two nights and would definately come again. For $42 we had one queen (they only have one queen), plenty of heat and not water, free coffee in the morning and access to... more

This place is not for everyone, but it certainly is for me. The price was great, the room was very clean. management very friendly. location good. As far as noise, I go to national parks to use them, so maybe i was dead tired when i came back to room, but i heard little noise from road nor other rooms.... more

This is a great, budget, no frills motel. We have stayed here many times and it's the best value we have found in the area. The roooms are clean, clean, clean and the family who owns and operates this motel are honest, friendly and you can depend on the rooms being super clean year after year. The rooms are basic,... more

If you just want a room where you're going to sleep for a couple of nights, then this is a great place. Yes, the last time the rooms were decorated seems to be over a decade ago but who really cares? It's clean and yes, I agree w/ the poster down below, the water gets really strong and hot. By... more

If you are looking for a clean, basic, affordable room (all rooms are $42) just to sleep at night after being outdoors all day, this is the right place. The rooms are very clean and small. The beds are very comfortable and bathroom is clean. The owners of this motel are very friendly and accomodating. They are eager to help... more

I'll admit, I am probably not your typical traveler. I don't need breakfast, coffee, exercise room, bar & restaurant, etc. What I want is a clean room, comfortable bed, TV, and bathroom equipment that works. When I pulled in, the sign on the wall said. "We are proud to show you our rooms." I've been to enough motels to know... more

The Robbins is definitely frozen in time. I was born in the 70's but I think I can safely say I have visited the 50's. The price was right though and got the job done as far as shelter. The room was super clean, especially the bathroom. The water pressure was suprisingly excellent (sucky pressure is one of my pet... more

This place is far below the going rate for Bar Harbor and it shows. If you want somewhere cheap then this is the place for you. If you want somewhere quiet (it sounds like the traffic on the road outside is going thru your room), or you want somewhere with amenities (the pool is 3ft all around and there may... more

The Robbins Motel offers a reasonably priced room ($58.00/double) in a pricey area in the Bar Harbor area. The Robbins is conveniently situated on Route 3, very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park and some four miles to Bar Harbor. The Robbins is a throwback to what motels looked like in the 1950's. Basically, attached cabin-like rooms. That... more

We booked rooms here because of the great reviews and price. We also couldn't find anything else on the internet with availability in this price range. Management was very kind and accommodating. We felt very safe. Lots of international travelers. And it's right next door to a very fun, pirate-themed mini golf course. Nonetheless, our rooms were more like tiny... more
