We stayed for a few nights while doing day hikes around Bar Harbor and found our room to be clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a low-key outdoors holiday. The man who checked us in was friendly and accommodating, and we greatly enjoyed our stay in Maine.

Only stay here if you are on a budget. We stayed 6 days because I only intended to be in the room at night. I also knew it was close to the highway- car and truck noise nearly all night. Our room was in the front even though I thought I asked for a quiet room in the back but... More

I was doing the booking for our group which was on a 15 day bike ride. I decided to stay at the Robbins Motel to try and save a little money. Biggest mistake of the whole trip. The rooms are basically like old mobile homes stuck together. The windows will not shut tightly which allows bugs and bees in the... More

I know, I get it....I really TRIED to like this bargain....I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. Yes, it's true, you are indeed too busy hiking, biking, kayaking to really be IN your hotel room - BUT, let me tell you, at the end of a busy and active day, it helps to return to a room... More

Don't expect frills, but you get a clean small room with queen bed and bathroom essentials for $65 a night. Only 2 per room which was fine for us. Only complaint was air conditioner had no thermostat so was all on or off and didn't have a fan mode. We stayed next to others in our family and they had... More

We did not want to spend a lot on accommodations - we basically wanted a place to sleep and shower. There is so much to do in Bar Harbor, staying at your hotel/cabin is not an option. The facilities are very dated but very clean. Clean beds and a hot shower were on our list and they delivered. Individual cabins... More

This is small hotel just up the road from Acadia. The place is dated with paneling in the rooms and old metal keys for the doors. It has a surprising number of units for the limited space that it occupies, so parking is very limited - 1 car per unit, with assigned spots. Room 26 had a peculiar design with... More

My girlfriend and I wanted to visit Acadia National Park after graduating from College. We were traveling on a budget, so we chose to stay at the Robbins Motel just outside of Bar Harbor (5 miles outside of downtown Bar Harbor, about a 10 minute, straight-shot drive). Robbins Motel was the cheapest place to stay we could find in the... More

nice place friendly staff. this a very good value for the money for bar harbor. this is my second time staying there and I don't go to bar harbor/Acadia national park to hang around a hotel. just need a place to shower and sleep. the bed is comfortable and the water in the shower is hot with plenty of pressure.... From what I can tell, the Robbins Motel is the cheapest lodging option in the area. The rooms are small and dated, but being just a few miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, there is no reasons to spend any time in them anyways. The hot water is hot, the A/C and heater both worked well, and the... More
