We've stayed here before and had better experiences. We've been in rooms closer to the office which may be a factor. We were in room 12 this time - furthest from the office. The water pressure and temperature were less than wonderful and the wi-fi was spotty. Perhaps it will improve to previous standards as the new owner settles in.

The room was clean and comfortable but also very basic. It was convenient to Bar Harbor and to Acadia National Park. The tv remote didn't work and the bathroom was a bit Spartan. To be fair, we knew what we for paying and certainly didn't expect four stars and as our expectations were not for five stars we weren't disappointed.... More

We always choose motels that are 100$ or less so I have a lot of experience. The low cost motels are really "getting" what they have to do with very little amenities. Acadia Pines has a little work to do. Room was ok but kinda musty smelling. I've been in cleaner places for less. It wasn't bad but I think... More

This place is great if you are on a budget. For young people in our situation, it gives you all you need in a clean room. Also, it is very affordable and close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor! I would recommend this to anyone who is not looking for a resort. The staff is also very pleasant!

The Acadia Pines was a very nice motel. It was much cheaper than other local motels so I wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. Great place to stay without spending a fortune. Would definitely recommend it to others. Nice bonus is the mini-golf course, BBQ place and... The Acadia Pines Motel was one of the best motels/hotels I have ever been to. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the scenery was spectacular. There was an outdoor pool which at night was quiet and serene and was kept open until 11 p.m. allowing for a late night swim with the family. The motel is surrounded my... More

Close to everything in Bar Harbor! Only 3 mins from Park entrance! Pool warm and enjoyable. Staff is helpful and friendly. This was a very good hotel and I would definitely stay there again! I hope that this is the first place you consider on your trip to bar harbor.

We stayed here couple of times during the last few years. It was a good place for a budget travel. But on our recent stay, we observed a decrease in the quality of the Hotel. We probably may not choose this place again.

Our family of 14 invaded Acadia Pines Motel for 4 days over the 2013 MDI Marathon weekend. We were totally happy with our stay. We were upgraded to family and kitchen rooms so that we could all be close. The owners and staff were amazingly friendly and made our stay feel like we were at home. The kitchenettes are completely... More
