The Acadia Pines Motel was one of the best motels/hotels I have ever been to. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the scenery was spectacular. There was an outdoor pool which at night was quiet and serene and was kept open until 11 p.m. allowing for a late night swim with the family. The motel is surrounded my... More

Close to everything in Bar Harbor! Only 3 mins from Park entrance! Pool warm and enjoyable. Staff is helpful and friendly. This was a very good hotel and I would definitely stay there again! I hope that this is the first place you consider on your trip to bar harbor.

We stayed here couple of times during the last few years. It was a good place for a budget travel. But on our recent stay, we observed a decrease in the quality of the Hotel. We probably may not choose this place again.

Our family of 14 invaded Acadia Pines Motel for 4 days over the 2013 MDI Marathon weekend. We were totally happy with our stay. We were upgraded to family and kitchen rooms so that we could all be close. The owners and staff were amazingly friendly and made our stay feel like we were at home. The kitchenettes are completely... More

I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 rating overall. Think I'll try to look for a different place to stay next time in Acadia. About 20 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and main Acadia attractions. Pros: Reasonable price comparing to other motels and hotels. Nice staff; we received a free room upgrade because they had free better rooms. Spacious rooms.... More

We visited Bar Harbor, Maine in the middle of September. Acadia National Park is absolutely beautiful! The L.L. Bean free transportation system was amazing, and left the driving to the operator and allowed us to take in gorgeous scenery. We enjoyed many a meal at Mainely Meat...huge lobster dinner for 14.50 and located right through the pines from our perfect... More

I chose Acadia Pines for my 5 night stay near Bar Harbor due to the mainly good reviews and the decent price. The motel isn't a fancy inn or a hotel that offers free breakfast. It is a place with clean rooms and friendly service. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated (I was in room 19), but I don't... More

Its a good place, nice environment and situated near the park entrance. The car can be parked right in front of the rooms, making it more convenient. The Downtown is also nearby n can be easily accessible. The hospitality of the owner is very good n friendly. Our room was neat n clean. hope will visit sometime again

Nice place close to the park entrance. Clean and comfortable, very quiet. The owner was extremely nice and helpful, we hope to get back there some time. Didn't get the chance to use the pool but it did look inviting!!

Acadia Pines Motel is a tradition "park in front of your room" motorlodge. Our room was nice, clean, and well appointed even though the bathroom decor was clearly from another era. The motel is convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
