My wife and I stayed at this B & B in late August to visit Acadia and Bar Harbor. The accommodations were very comfortable and nice and quiet. Even with fairly warm weather, we didn't need the room A/C when we slept thanks to the ceiling fan. The breakfast were good with Lena's delicious creations. They were a bit skimpy... More

My boyfriend and I recently stayed for 2 nights in the Eden suite and were impressed with the cleanliness and size of the room. Also, waiting for you on the bed is a bag of goodies - trail mix and chocolates. The stained glass in the bathroom was beautiful and the jacuzzi tub was great. Out in the dining and... More

The hosts are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, the tub could fit our whole family! Clean, great food, wonderful company and so close to the park and the downtown where all the activities are. A forsure return.

This couple is charming, caring, helpful, and the breakfasts were out of this world. It is perfectly located near Bar Harbor and Acadia National park. It was an intimate experience. Five rooms in total made for easy friendly conversation and sharing of information. The coffee and food provided were amazing: pound cake waffles, blueberry French toast, fruit crumble. Enough food to... More

Look no further!!! A Beautiful bed-and-breakfast that is a must see to this lovely area. Conveniently located minutes from downtown. Near a winery and just minutes from the national park. Friendly, personable and very helpful inn keepers that make you feel comfortable and really cater to your needs. Food is by far amazing, healthy, and full of flavor! Definitely worth... More

Positives: Comfortable bedrooms and setting. Clean and well kept. Ours was a large group of 5 couples that took over the Inn for a week and having a kitchen and laundry facilities at our disposal was great. A nice outdoor seating area was well used. Negatives: The inn is out of town and on a fairly busy road. Traffic noise... More

Staying at Heathwood right now, but just till the morning. Informed that they have no Breakfast. A Bed & Breakfast without a Breakfast? Wasn't too bad until we visited the shower and found out there was no steam or hot water but still could brush the teeth. Attempted to contact management with no answer, "just call me at anytime if... More

We stayed at the Heathwood for a week and couldn't have been happier! The combination of a great location on the island and the warm and wonderful accommodations were terrific. There is kayaking within a half mile of the property on Northeast Creek. The innkeeper really knew the island and arranged bike rentals (delivered right to the inn) and reservations... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Heathwood for a long weekend this past summer. We had done some research on what we wanted to do during our visit but still had a few questions. Karen was absolutely amazing and so incredibly helpful. She pointed us in the direction of Bar Harbor's best lobster rolls and gave us some great... More

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for two nights while on a long weekend trip to Acadia. We booked this sort of last minute and options were limited (and prices steep given the high season). The manager of the B&B was extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable on local dining options and hiking trails/activities. She even lent us her... More
