We stayed in the motel section for a second year in a row. It was perfect as usual. The rooms are large and clean. The hotel is located right in the heart of Bar Harbor, a few minutes walk from everything. Parking is free and getting around the island without a car is easy with the Island Explorer. We will... My husband and I stayed in this wonderful inn for a week. Everything is so clean and neat. The staff are the best! So friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things about the breakfast. Mary, who bakes the most delicious pastries, had my husband wanting to stay. Our room was small but we were just in it to sleep... More

We also stayed in the motel next to the Inn, but the stay was delightful. The staff was very helpful with every one of our needs. They gave us excellent guidance in what to do and see while we were in BH and even provided an audio guide for us to use while in the park. The facilities were very... More

Stayed three nights at the Inn - my husband & I had the Strath Eden room which was lovely, and our three children ( two teens and one in his early twenties) had the large room on the first floor with the attached porch. I know they were comfortable because they could spread out with the two large beds with... More

My mom and I stayed here on a short 3 night vacation. I can't say enough good things! Exactly what you think of when you think of a wonderful B&B. Accommodations are lovely: a veranda, fireplace and porch (some rooms), and all of the nice amenities you would want. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating, but I... More

They treated us like family. This is a great location and everyone was so friendly and helpful in making this a wonderful family vacation. From here you can walk to everything in town and it has good access to Acadia National Park. The rooms are large and very well equipped with refrigerator, flat screen TV and Keurig coffee maker. The... More

We stayed at The Inn (as opposed to the motel which is next door) and enjoyed it immensely. The location is just off the main road through BH but you'd never know that. All is quiet down this leafy lane. Our room was large with a lovely porch to relax on a warm night. The first-class breakfast can be taken... More

I booked a room in the motel last minute and was very pleased with our room. It was clean, large, and had a nice little porch outside the room. The main house is the real centerpiece of the property, but the motel worked well for our needs.

My husband and I just returned from our New England road trip. We spent two nights in the Strath Eden room at Mosley Cottage. I have nothing but nice things to say about the inn! The room was nice and large and very comfortably furnished and impeccablly cleaned. I felt very much at home there. The staff was pleasant and... More
