This place is VERY conveniently located to both the main street shopping and the beautiful shore walk. We stayed in the town motel portion of the Moseley. It is old. It is like traveling in the 1950s. But it is wonderful. The maid was very nice and specifically asked us if there was anything she could get for us. Then,... More

My teenage daughter and I stayed in the Inn for three nights on a recent trip to Bar Harbor and the Moseley Cottage was just perfect! Great in town location on a side street with a parking lot. We stayed on the third floor in the Precipice room which was quite large with two beds - a king and a... More

We recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Moseley Cottage, and it was completely wonderful. We stayed on the 3rd floor of the main house in the Precipice room--it was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The recliner in the room was great! The owners and front desk staff were welcoming and helpful--even provided a trail map for Acadia... More

My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights in the Inn and just loved it. It was the perfect sized room - the Bubble - with 1 king bed and 2 twin beds. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was luxiurious. The bathroom was very large and we loved having the side porch. The location was perfect -... More

We stayed at in the motel portion of the inn and found it to be exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean, minimal and compared to many others in the area could be had for a reasonable rate. The inn is located right down town Bar Harbor and walking distance to all shops and restaurants. They have... More

Went with my two teenagers on an adventure to explore Maine, which we had never been to. Stayed in the Beehive room which is perfect with 2 double beds and a great bath. Very quiet on the third floor. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast divine. So close to everything and an easy walk. Loved everything about it!

My son & I were booked in one of the motel rooms. We arrived tired & hot & ready to crash for a nap, and discovered the AC did not work in the room. Within minutes, Pam had helped us move to another room (in the main house) that was even more lovely! The rest of our stay was comfortable,... More

The location could not be beat, just a few blocks from the center of everything. The house is lovely. We stayed in the "Pinnacle room" which was very comfortable and spacious. Another member of our party stayed in the single "Dorr" room which was tiny and had no bathroom. Therefore, you need to check very carefully what kind of room... More

Thank you for your lovely review. We appreciate all of the wonderful comments. I would like to point out that the single room with the twin bed is small, and it does have a bathroom. the bathroom is across the hall a few steps. We do provide a bathrobe and slippers for your use.We hope you come back and stay... More

We stayed in the motel section for a second year in a row. It was perfect as usual. The rooms are large and clean. The hotel is located right in the heart of Bar Harbor, a few minutes walk from everything. Parking is free and getting around the island without a car is easy with the Island Explorer. We will...
