Anna & Jim Brown; while new at this post had all the finesses and friendliness of seasoned and devoted Innkeepers. The B&B is quaint and blends in well with the Bar Harbor flair and is well situated to the town and the park entrances. Our room was a treat as we had a separate cozy sitting area with a well... The Coach Stop Inn Bed and Breakfast was perfect! The hospitality that was shown to use was equivalent, if not better than being at a 5 start hotel. The location was perfect and the history of the Coach Stop Inn was really interesting. We look forward to visiting there again soon!

We were in Bar Harbor in early Spring 2015 (apologies Browns for the delay in this review). We were impressed with how the Inn was represented on their web site but were enthralled upon arrival. It is all things NE and could not have made our final night in Maine more perfect (on our way to Canada and the Northern... More

Jim and Anna are great, food is tasty, property is nice. The area is beautiful and you're only a few miles from one of the park entrances. Heritage was a simple room with everything we needed. Made for a great romantic weekend!

Whether you are looking for a quiet vacation getaway, romantic weekend, or a place to rest and relax, the Coach Stop Inn is the place. Nestled near Acadia National Park, this quaint and historic B & B is ideally located. Innkeepers Anna and Jim consider themselves the current “keepers of the inn”. Their hospitality is superior with a passionate respect... More

We were fortunate to stay in The Tavern Suite, a very comfortable and cozy suite with a gas burning fireplace. Jim and Anna are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome in their home. The breakfasts were delicious complete with printed menus for the day's repast. We highly recommend Coach Stop Inn, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed there for two nights and absolutely loved it. The place was rustic but immaculately clean and cozy. The small details were much appreciated- the fresh baked goodies set out every night in the dining area, coffee and tea always available (self serve after breakfast), shared sitting room with lots of magazines and books to peruse while you sit... The Browns are wonderful owners .They go above and beyond. We stayed in the Abbey Suite had a great foyer ,living room area and separate bedroom . The bathroom with the claw foot tub was my wife's favorite spot. The food was great. The location is a little outside of town but not really an issue at all. Would stay... More

Coach Stop Inn is charming! Jim and Anna are thoughtful hosts, nothing is overlooked at their inn. The public rooms are warm and inviting. The bedroom suites are comfortable and well appointed. You might come for the ambiance but you will want to stay for the food! The warm home baked cookies in the afternoon and the most delicious gourmet... More

Nestled just a few short miles from Acadia National Park, the Coach Stop Inn offered us the most inviting and friendly experience. Upon our evening arrival, we were greeted with instrumental music playing in the foyer and homemade 5 layer chocolate brownies in the kitchen. Our room, the Abbé Suite, was more like a retreat. Tucked away on the second... More
