This was our first trip to Bar Harbor and we planned it last minute. We got lucky to have found this place to stay, it was lovely. Deborah was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She made us feel welcome and at home. Her breakfast were amazing! Three course breakfasts all made from scratch. In the evening there would... More

We stayed at the Coach Stop during a weekend visit to Bar Harbor. It was the kind of weekend where the island is packed and there is no vacancy anywhere. We were incredibly lucky to find this place, and felt even more lucky when we found our room. We stayed in the Acadia Suite, with an extremely comfortable bed and... More

Out of the gridlock of Bar Harbor but in a good location for visiting other parts of the island this charming b&b was perfect. The owner went out of her way to be accommodating breakfast and afternoon snacks are not to be missed. Looking forward to publishing of the cook book.

What a wonderful stay my husband and I had Coach Stop Inn recently as we celebrated our 30th anniversary. Quaint, cozy, quiet, clean, and comfortable are words that come to mind each time I think of our stay there. This historical inn was just lovely and the innkeeper was spot on with everything, from giving recommendations of things to do... More

Pro's: Great breakfast, away from city, wonderful hostess Con's : away from city (see also "pro"), on a busy road We stayed at the Coach Stop in September 2013. The B&B was quaint but after staying at another B&B in town, we were somewhat let down by the room which seemed tired and old. I realize it is an older... More

My wife and I stayed at the Coach Stop during a quick visit to Bar Harbor area. Quaint and cozy "Cap Cod Style" B&B. I was quite fascinated by the history of Coach Stop Inn - which was built in 1804 an actual coach stop. The common areas were well decorated to remind you of the period. Deborah was a... More

I stayed at the Coach Stop Inn for several nights in June. I've been to Maine a few times, but this trip was by far my favorite. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the decorating tasteful. The inn is in an old house, but the paint choices, art on the walls and furniture give it a classic air;... More
