My wife and I stayed at the Coach Stop during a quick visit to Bar Harbor area. Quaint and cozy "Cap Cod Style" B&B. I was quite fascinated by the history of Coach Stop Inn - which was built in 1804 an actual coach stop. The common areas were well decorated to remind you of the period. Deborah was a... More

Pro's Beautiful old building Deborah is a great host and very easy going It's a very laid back BnB with a good atmosphere Good breakfasts Coffee, tea, treats available 24/7 Nice clean, quiet rooms About a 10 min drive from Bar Harbor Con's If I was really nit picking I'd say the wi-fi connection isn't great outside the main house... I stayed at the Coach Stop Inn for several nights in June. I've been to Maine a few times, but this trip was by far my favorite. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the decorating tasteful. The inn is in an old house, but the paint choices, art on the walls and furniture give it a classic air;... More

I just returned from 5 days enjoying the hospitality of Deborah Stahlman. She could not have done more to make our stay relaxing and stress free. The location at the top of the island is convenient to the quiet western side of Mt. Desert Island yet convenient to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Deborah's breakfasts are outstanding and her... More

Personalized service, great breakfast with afternoon snacks. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great value as compared to the other motels/hotels in the area. Hostess Deborah is more than helpful and accomodating to your needs. I will be going back and staying here on my next trip to the area.

I needed a place to recover over a weekend, and the Coach Stop was it. Deborah responded to my need for staring into a fire, and had them for me in the lounge each morning. I also stayed in the Tavern suite, which has a private fireplace. The inn was cool because it's an old building, but it was so... More

After twenty plus years of "missing the Maine experience"...what a warm way to travel back...felt as though I had never left, Maine is just a "Special Place", those that live there are blessed and those that travel there realize that fact quickly...Deborah, the Innkeeper of this delightful and charming establishment just make it that much more enjoyable, her gift of... We spent three nights here in the Tavern Suite and did not want to leave. Deborah was the perfect hostess, so welcoming and helpful, ready to share recommendations and easy conversation. She makes you feel right at home, and her culinary skills are out of this world! We thoroughly enjoyed the three-course gourmet breakfasts, fresh-baked afternoon treats, and especially appreciated... Deborah, our hostess, was such a delightful, wonderful cook. We arrived the day when our government shutdown. She showed us ways to get around Bar Harbor and Acadia so that we could still enjoy our first visit to this area. Deborah booked reservations for you and gave you many suggestions of things to do. She has excellent knowledge of the area.... More

Our favorite B & B during a two week vacation to Maine, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia!! Felt like it was 1804 again arriving at this quaint Inn. Deborah was a dear and am so excited for her as she recently said "I do." God's richest blessings to you two <3 We had a wonderful suite, Abbe,... More
